Zoadello In Polaveno

We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch for two. It was our first visit to the restaurant, and we'll definitely be back. We absolutely loved the homemade pasta with locally harvested porcini mushrooms. The skewered meat and cod were also delicious. When you use high-quality ingredients, the difference in flavors and aromas is noticeable.

The food is always excellent, but recently the prices have become excessive. A portion of crepes cost €14, but when they arrived there were only two and barely bigger than a small fist. A plate of cod cost €21, and the only thing that was generous was the polenta. It's a shame because the quality is good, but the prices are outrageous for the quantity served. It's disappointing because it's always been one of my favorite places, but I don't think I'll be back.

Quality business lunch at a reasonable price

Compliments to the restaurant and all the staff. The food is excellent. All the products, from the appetizers to the first courses, the second courses, and the desserts, are carefully prepared and of high quality. The 40-day aged Fassona beef fillet is truly outstanding.

Had a business lunch for the first time today. Excellent selection, and the cutlet with green salad was even better. Friendly and prompt service, very good prices. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

Stopped for a business lunch, good choice and excellent cuisine, good and fast service

The restaurant experience can generally be divided into four sections. The negative points are, firstly, the clearly incorrectly advertised opening hours on the restaurant door. It says it opens at 6:00 PM, but this is definitely not the case. If you arrive at 6:00 PM, you can only see the employees entering the restaurant. You can only really start ordering and eating at 7:30 PM at the earliest. Another negative point is the somewhat longer wait time between courses. On the positive side, the food is really delicious, and once ordered, it arrives quickly. The ambiance is nice, and they even offer a little snack at the beginning of the meal while you wait for your first order. In total, we ate for about 3:30 hours. Of that, at least 2 hours were spent waiting. Whether this was part of our oversight due to arriving early or whether the incorrectly advertised time was the reason for the long wait is up to each individual to decide. The final rating is 3.5 out of 5 stars for very good and authentic Italian food, but with a very long wait that shouldn't have been necessary. Furthermore, the food is reasonably priced, and the restaurant is definitely worth a visit, even if you don't arrive until around 7:40 p.m.
