In a nutshell: it's worth the long line you have to stand outside. Top quality, masterful organization, impeccable selection of products, affordable prices. I highly recommend it to everyone. P.S.: I'd only stop the duo who walks between the tables with a tambourine.

Let me start by saying we had dinner on August 6th, when Cisternino was very busy. I imagine and hope the timing isn't what we've experienced. We arrived at 8:30 PM, having been told over the phone that they didn't accept reservations. We waited in line to choose our meat at the counter until 9:30 PM. The first courses arrived at 10:15 PM. The sausage was good, especially the spicy one, and the bombette: unfortunately, the first ones weren't fully cooked. The capocollo was too tough. The meat rolls, however, were excellent. So, we'll try them again at a less crowded time of year.

One of the best steakhouses in the area. I especially recommend the straccetti. The sausages (in wine and zampina) are also good. The breaded bombettes are not bad. I don't recommend the classic bombettes. The baked potatoes are delicious.

A great place to go for delicious, properly grilled meat, your choice, even for celiacs, because they respect cross-contamination to the fullest extent possible. For those who don't know, Zio Pietro doesn't require reservations; instead, depending on your arrival time, you line up and wait to be served. They're usually quick, but the time wasted depends on people who don't know or can't choose the type of meat to have cooked, because it's all so tempting, and on the cooking times: 1) First come, first served. 2) At the butcher's counter, choose the type of raw meat you want, which they will then cook for you to perfection. 3) They weigh the meat you've chosen in front of you. 4) They tell you the table number where you're supposed to sit, and then the meat arrives nice and ready. 5) Enjoy your dinner. P.S.: I recommend not overdoing the meat, because you risk not eating it all and it going to waste. Ps2: Try all the different types of bombette they make, even the spicy ones (they're just manageable in a spicy way, without being overly spicy). What can I say... I highly recommend Zio Pietro and congratulations to the entire staff for the excellent service, hard work, and love they put in. NB: When I told the meat counter attendant I was celiac, the first thing he did was run off to wash his hands thoroughly to avoid any possible contamination, and he also pointed out to the cooking staff to be careful and put the meat in a sealed bag instead of using the traditional tray. For that, I say well done.

Che dire?? Organizzatissimi,veloci ,nel complesso il servizio è stato buono. Simpatica l'idea di sceglierti la carne al banco,buona. Carne ottima. Personale attento e cordiale. Il motto loro è....mangia e lascia il tavolo,ci sta' se non fanno così la gente si prolunga e non è il ristorante dove fermarti a chiacchierare, ma è il suo bello. Da consigliare.
