Zio Agatino In Siracusa

Nice location and clean restaurant, but unfortunately, those are its only advantages. The setting is charming and offers a magnificent sea view, but the service leaves much to be desired and the food is nothing special. One waiter to take orders from over 20 tables is definitely not enough, and the food lacks original recipes and is decidedly average. At least the seafood is properly marked as frozen on the menu. Dishes range between 15 and 25 euros per dish. Considering an average meal of two dishes + drinks + cover charge, it's hard to stay under 40 euros per person. My advice is to go if you want a good sea view and save money, but personally, I'd prefer to spend 40 euros on a single dish but with better quality. It's not the worst meal I've ever had, and the area is beautiful, so it deserves an almost free 3 stars.

A very pleasant experience. Quality food and a beautiful view of the sea. The place is well worth it. The wait was quite long, the waiters were very confused, all foreigners except a few Italians, and perhaps they didn't understand the language very well because we called them at least six times, but they never sent the right person to order. Instead, they always sent someone to collect the dishes, but we didn't have any plates on the table, just the menus, wine, and bread. We enjoyed the bread, hoping someone would arrive. We ordered after 10 pm, but overall it was worth it. Unfortunately, some dishes we wanted to order were missing. Very affordable prices across the entire menu. The mixed fried fish was very abundant, and the linguine was delicious. The Sicilian cassata was artisanal. Delicious! The organization could definitely be improved, especially since we went during the week, but we didn't expect such chaos. An experience worth repeating!

A seaside restaurant with extremely friendly staff, especially the owner, who is exceptional. The food is delicious, especially since they have their own seafood farm. Onsite parking.

The dishes we ordered were well prepared, the linguine with sea urchins was excellent, a forkful more pasta would have been appreciated. Good value for money.

Friendly and fast service, kind and helpful staff. If you're in Syracuse and looking for a place to eat well with a breathtaking view, Zio Agatino is a must!

Très belle vue. Un coin de paradis. Serveur très sympathique. Parle plusieurs langues. Pâtes et risotto de la mer très bons. Dessert correct. Très bon rapport qualité prix

Ero un po' titubante nel prenotare un tavolo, vista la mancanza di recensioni recenti in merito a questo ristorante, premetto che gestisco una struttura ricettiva, il Bed & Breakfast "Scicli" a Scicli ( Rg), e quindi mi interessa sempre sapere e testare in prima persona la qualità di un ristorante/trattoria per poterlo poi consigliare o meno ai miei Ospiti, posso confermare che ho pranzato benissimo con una spettacolare zuppa di cozze freschissime, con conseguente scarpetta e un delizioso risotto alla pescatora, per non parlare poi della bellissima vista mare con Ortigia di fronte, finalmente i miei dubbi sono stati azzerati, tutto buonissimo....!! ❤️
