Zeus Faber In La maddalena

In the old town we found a small restaurant, it smelled so delicious of fresh food that we decided to have lunch there. The food did not disappoint us. It was VERY tasty and fast, reasonable prices. The service is calm and respectful. We ordered tuna salad with red rice, eggplant and fish casserole, 2 espressos, sorbet and layer cake with cheese and honey, a bottle of water.

All spectacular dishes, mussels, octopus, quinoa and chickpea salad and black rice with shrimp and zucchini. The fast service.

It is by chance that you discover the best restaurants. I must admit that before coming here, I had opted for other destinations. But we were in the area, after a walk at the port. We enter this delightful street, few people, I notice the menu and I say to myself "let's try it". I took this Venus rice with courgettes and prawns, and gentlemen, there are no prawns this GOOD around! The whole thing was a wow of flavour, I wish it were endless😂 more than three hours have passed since the end of lunch and my mouth is still watering. And no, I'm not exaggerating. Unfortunately I didn't take anything else, because honestly the rice had filled me up right then and there. My partner had the octopus with a side of grilled vegetables, and he too was super satisfied. The waitress very kind and helpful. I recommend everyone to go!

The environment is very pleasant in the center of La Maddalena. The staff doesn't stand out for friendliness but all in all they do their job. The food was good but with exaggerated prices and unsatisfactory quantity. Better than others but nothing memorable.
