Zeus Faber In La maddalena

A restaurant overlooking Cala Gavetta. The restaurant offers a menu with a variety of poke options. We ordered grilled salmon, a poke, a glass of wine, and a bottle of water for a total of €46. Prices are average (perhaps even a little lower). Reservations are recommended.

Highly recommended. Top-quality food, the calamari was delicious. The service is very good. There was a time when their power went out, but they still kept serving dishes without delay.

Like typical tourists, we were hungry in the afternoon. Many restaurants were closed, but not Zeus Faber. We ordered the grilled octopus with grilled vegetables for the main course, plus tiramisu for dessert. The food was fabulous, the shady spot on the terrace was pleasant, and the service was friendly. Highly recommended!

Good food at affordable prices. Friendly staff, nice terrace for outdoor dining! Pasta was very good.

A wonderful discovery while passing through La Magdalena. We dined on the very pleasant terrace. The fresh, high-quality produce is expertly prepared. The sharing platter of seafood delicacies is a marvel. The grilled octopus and the venerated rice with prawns are to die for. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and efficient. Thank you!

Stopping in Madalena for 2 days, we tried the seafood skewers, the fried calamari, a salmon poke and the dish of the day: spaghetti cacio e pepe with scampi tartare. All the dishes were a hit. The flavors were there. The service was discreet and efficient. The terrace was quiet.

We came twice. The first time we ate very well, the second a little less so. We had an octopus sandwich, a tuna tataki with sesame, and steamed bread with salmon tartare, all delicious and truly 5-star. Our friends had a delicious tuna tartare sandwich, fried fish balls with caramelized onion and sauce (they looked excellent), and a mixed house fish appetizer (super disappointing considering the price). We came back a second time and ordered grilled swordfish. It had a strange cut and some sort of breadcrumbs, I don't know why... Fried fish balls (it looked like Philadelphia and tuna, but I don't know), presented differently than the first time, placed on parchment paper without onion or sauce... We discovered that you could order house wine, which wasn't listed on the menu 🤷🏻‍♀️ PS: the sandwiches aren't on the menu either 🤷🏻‍♀️ I saw them here on Google! Service: the waitress, a bit listless, doesn't smile. The ingredients are good, perhaps the cooking talent is...unstable. Prices are average for Maddalena, maybe even a little less.
