zest In Caiazzo

Coming back to Zest is always a great feeling! We chose Zest to celebrate a birthday, booking a table with a meatball grill and a meat menu (all fantastic). It's a shame about the service, which this time disappointed me, with one of the waiters being less than "welcoming and helpful." Despite this, Zest remains a unique place!

We were greeted with kindness and courtesy by the very professional and helpful staff. The food was quality. We started with a very fresh and savory veal with tuna sauce, and the broccoli rabe tart, very balanced and flavorful. Next, we tried the octopus and potato meatballs, truly balanced and tasty. We were perhaps a little hesitant about the porcini mushroom and truffle risotto, which was objectively very good but perhaps a bit too much cheese in the sauce (subjective taste). Next, we chose the meat zest option with a side of grilled vegetables. Nothing to complain about; all the options were exceptional. The choice of vegetables was also original. Finally, we finished with a revisited tiramisu, which we weren't thrilled with, and a caramel bavarois with chocolate crumble and mango sauce, which, however, amazed us! Very balanced, with no one flavor overpowering the other. All accompanied by a good Barolo from Parusso. Excellent value! We'll definitely be back to try many other dishes! A truly pleasant experience!
