Zeppichl In Merano

How beautiful can South Tyrol be? We regularly spend our holidays in the mountains and the Zeppichl at almost 1700m skillfully sets the bar to the next level. The original inn was expanded 3 years ago with a large and beautiful new building of the very finest. There are modern apartments designed in South Tyrolean Alpine chic with a kitchen, wonderfully comfortable beds, a fireplace, balconies and terraces and much more. The hotel's own large spa area with indoor/outdoor pool, various saunas, steam bath, wonderful loungers and fresh drinks is perfect for relaxing and regenerating after long hikes. The absolute highlight, in the truest sense, is the large whirlpool on the roof of the hotel, the highest point in the whole place. Here you feel a little closer to heaven in a breathtaking setting. Marveling at the over 3000m high mountains of the Texel Group Nature Park from the pool allows you to effortlessly forget about everyday life and puts a big grin on every guest's face. The culinary experience is also great here, as the boss comes to the table for breakfast and asks how he can prepare the breakfast eggs for the rich buffet. In the evening he conjures up fine dishes on the plates either a la carte or in the course menu. The hotel gets its food from, among others, the brother who lives opposite, who runs his family farm and his butcher shop. I could go on and on with praise, but I simply recommend visiting the Zeppichl itself! If you are looking for hiking, skiing, mountains, nature, friendly people and relaxation, you will more than find what you are looking for here. Someone once wrote: “Paradise discovered at the end of the world.” We spent our summer short vacation in Zeppichl and can only confirm this. From the first to the last minute we felt comfortable. The wellness area with the new whirlpool on the roof is a dream. The food was excellent. The new rooms are very stylish and comfortably furnished. Dogs are very welcome. And what we liked best: the host family, who really put their heart and soul into being hosts, and the friendly staff. We are really looking forward to our next holiday in Zeppichl.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The service was outstanding – from the warm owners to the super friendly staff, we felt completely at home. The food was of the highest standard and the half board offered a great selection. The drinks were also excellent at a fair price! Our apartment was well equipped and we particularly liked the wooden look design. The hotel is also ideal for dogs: there are wonderful walking paths directly from the house. What's particularly positive is the quiet - at night you only hear the pleasant ringing of cowbells. The wellness area with pool and whirlpool is also top notch, perfect for relaxing. Anyone traveling with children will appreciate the playground right outside the door. The price-performance ratio is simply right here - we can recommend the Zeppichl Mountain Residence 100% and will definitely come back! 10/10.

Mega! After a long hike, ending the evening here in the spa area (costs 25 euros extra but definitely worth it) is simply wonderful. The whole staff is very nice! :)

From A to L, like Lu...and V like Ver...to Z like Zeppichl, it was completely perfect. A dream in front of a fantastic backdrop (admittedly...the Hohe Wilde looks particularly beautiful, especially when the sun is shining...) ...of course again soon. We were at the Hotel Zeppichl for the first time. Simply great!!! You open the door to your super beautiful, tasteful room and have 100% vacation. The food is fantastic, everything around the service is very attentive, friendly and nice. From breakfast to dinner, everything is there...☝️You can make any special requests, we always try to implement them. 😘😄 We have already reserved for next year......Thank you dear Verena ❣️

Arriving there after a strenuous day's tour and relaxing with a drink on the terrace just feels good. The food is also great and the service is friendly and attentive. Great rooms, good breakfast. Highly recommended come again

Arrive… feel good… enjoy the peace and nature. Hospitality is very important here. The staff is totally attentive and super nice. There is a lot of love and heart throughout the entire house. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place. The hotel is awesome, the wellness area and the swimming pool are great. The apartments are great, super well furnished and clean. The food prices are particularly good. It is located at the end of a valley and it takes 1 hour to get to Meran by car. There are beautiful hiking trails and alpine huts there.
