Zen Sushi In Roma

Schöne Ambiente, mit sehr guten Essen. Portionen ( wenn es kein Sushi ist ) sind sehr klein. Z.B. frittierter Reis mit Gemüse. Wir waren an einem Donnerstag Abend um 21 Uhr hier und mussten lange auf das Essen warten. Ansonsten top.

The lights need to be reviewed, they are like spotlights and do not help you relax during dinner. for the rest everything is wonderful.

I have no complaints about the service and the environment as they were good. But the sushi was not authentic at all despite the very visually pleasing and appetizing presentation. It's the typical Westernized Japanese sushi of an unusually large size, with a heavy use of mayonnaise and fish roe. Fish was not fresh either. Nothing like those in Tokyo though I had slight hopes that the food would be authentic seeing some Asian (Japanese-looking) chefs standing behind the conveyor belts. The soy sauce was too salty for sushi dipping as it's supposed to be lighter in Japan. Well, I'd say by European standard, this sushi shop is alright but by Japanese standard, this is no doubt not up to par.

Praticamente un’istituzione nel panorama romano dei ristoranti giapponesi di ottimo livello. Tutto positivo sempre!
