Don't let the restaurant's exterior fool you; we dined here on two of our five nights in Favignana and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients. The tuna (fillet and tartare) was excellent and fresh, and the busiate pasta was equally delicious. The staff's courtesy completed the five-star experience.

We went to this restaurant two nights in a row. Excellent food and fair prices. Both Saturday and Sunday there was live music, which we thoroughly enjoyed, as the performers were very talented. The staff was attentive, kind, and professional.

Appearances can be deceiving: The atmosphere is homey and uninviting at first... but as soon as you eat, you forget where you are! The appetizers and first courses are exquisite... the waiters are very kind and welcoming!

Tonight we had an appetizer of three types of smoked fish (including tuna salami), busiate pasta with squid ink, and sweet and sour red tuna. The busiate pasta was first and very slightly spicy, followed by the smoked trio (tuna and swordfish), and the sweet and sour tuna, just barely, in third place. The onions perhaps barely masked the flavor of the tuna. In a setting without any great pretensions for the location, the seafood cuisine was top-notch. The busiate dish was also plentiful and had tiny pieces of squid inside. The house wine, forget it; it's not expensive, but this fish doesn't deserve it. We paid 85 euros and were satisfied. Coffee included.

Just steps from the center of Favignana, Zanzibar is the restaurant recommended to me by the guy at our bed and breakfast. The seafood is top-notch, and the busiate with Trapani pesto is simply heartwarming—one of those dishes that stays in your heart and makes you dream of returning. The service is handled by incredibly kind young people. We'd love to see you in Milan! 💕

Il cibo è molto buono ma le porzioni risultano un po' piccole e il prezzo un po' altino considerando che la maggior parte del cibo è surgelato. Ad ogni modo lo consiglio :)

Oggi siamo andati spontaneamente al ristorante Zanzibar. In realtà era tutto prenotato, ma il cameriere ci ha detto che potevamo mangiare “all’interno” oppure sulla terrazza, ma in quel caso avremmo avuto solo un’ora di tempo. Alla fine, quell’ora è stata più che sufficiente.
Ho ordinato una cotoletta di vitello impanata con patatine fritte: era squisita, e anche le patatine erano molto buone. Con un prezzo di soli 12€, è stato davvero conveniente.
Il servizio è stato molto cordiale e anche molto competente.
