I received a tasting from ZAMZE XVI as a gift and immediately thought of the restaurant's sophistication. We were greeted by staff who, in my opinion, should replicate it and bring it to other establishments. They pampered and delighted us, engaging us on this culinary journey from start to finish. Eating here was, for me, a journey into the Venetian tradition of the lagoon and beyond, including the hinterland, with attention to detail—from the bread made with the chef's ancient grains, to all the fresh garden vegetables, from the peach broth seasoned with a little seawater, and many other delights to discover when visiting this restaurant. I highly recommend it not only for dining, but also for learning that food is art and stems from the past, revisited with a modern twist.

I entered the trattoria by chance because I liked the clean, minimalist entrance. A world of discreet hospitality and style opened up. The food, too, was excellent.

I've tried five-star restaurants and have returned to them several times. I wouldn't do it again with this restaurant because the prices are excessive, even though we're in Venice. We ordered two Negronis each for €60. We ordered four cicchetti each for €8, each good, but nothing incredible in my opinion. The rest of the dinner was offered as a gift. The dishes themselves are quite refined and enjoyable, although not all of them burst with flavor, in my opinion (the bean dish wasn't my favorite, but the reinterpretation is good). Overall, the food is good, but not worth the price, in my humble opinion.

The fish-based tasting menu (excluding wines) was excellent in terms of flavor and presentation. The service was prompt and the staff knowledgeable in every aspect. The only comment we'd like to share concerns the price of the glasses of wine we tasted. The wines were absolutely good and beautifully presented, but for the wines we chose, the average prices seemed a bit too high (average cost €15 per glass).

Perfect dinner. A fantastic experience combining good food, tradition, and innovation. A magical setting.
