In the heart of Geraci Siculo, a group of friends and I discovered a restaurant that truly left us speechless. Located in the historic center, we were greeted warmly and cordially upon arrival. The restaurant's ingenious concept is its "configurable" tasting menu: you can choose from various options ranging from three to seven courses, allowing everyone to tailor the experience to their own preferences. The owner guided us through the menu, passionately explaining each dish and telling us about the origins of the ingredients, many of which come directly from their garden. The service was impeccable, attentive but never intrusive, with a natural approach that makes everything even more enjoyable. The wine cellar is well-stocked, with a carefully selected selection of Sicilian wines. They recommended a wine that proved to be the perfect pairing for our culinary journey, enhancing each course without ever overpowering the flavors. Even the chef came to say hello, a gesture we greatly appreciated. The underlying philosophy is zero-mile and absolute seasonality, with a menu that changes weekly, reflecting the rhythm of nature and available produce, as well as the Chef's creativity. The quality of the dishes is noteworthy. Just went to this wonderful restaurant. First of all, there are magnificent views from the terrace, all across the valley to the mediterranean. Service was exquisite, the owner was very friendly. He proposed a tasting series of small dishes of local cuisine. Everything fresh and local. I can definitely recommend this to anyone who appreciates good food in an amazing atmosphere.

We had a phenomenal meal at Yerax. The atmosphere was smart and friendly, the service was superb, each course of our tasting menu was delicious, beautifully delivered and presented, and all came from the owner's local farm. The whole experience was simply wonderful... I'd give this place several Michelin stars!
