Yerax - Il Bel Mangiare In Geraci siculo

Place found by chance in Geraci, nice and welcoming place but we were not happy with the menu. Fixed menu that includes tastings (the quantities are really small, and this is coming from a person who usually gets full immediately). A very good appetizer which raises the expectations for the following dishes... and instead a disappointment as the two first courses consist of a taste of chickpea and lentil soup with 4 croutons of small bread like beans, and a cannoli or (cannellone) filling. The second course is made up of two very thin slices of roast with a spoonful of puree. The dessert was nothing special... and very slow service. Value for money in my opinion disproportionate. What a pity … !!!

We enjoyed a good tasting menu with seasonal products and an excellent quality/quantity-price ratio. The presentation of the dishes is modern (even the eye wants its part). The interior of the place is very nice, and it also has a beautiful panoramic terrace with spectacular views. The service was very attentive and cared for in the presentation of the dishes.

Exceptional restaurant: - the courses of the tasting menu are made up of genuine and local ingredients, the right quantities and impeccable presentation - the place is welcoming and elegant - the owner delighted us with his presence with clear and interesting explanations. We chatted throughout dinner, it was a pleasure - exceptional value for money Yerax is a little gem in the Madonie mountains, absolutely worth trying

Under the owner's advice, we chose their gastronomic route and were happily satisfied. We found many specialties from the area, characterized by a strong link to tradition but with an eye to the future. Very hospitable and intimate environment. Advised!

Con moglie e amici abbiamo provato questo ristorante in centro a Geraci e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi. Qualità delle materie prime e simpatia del titolare che ci ha raccontato degli aneddoti sul posto e descritto sapientemente le varie portate. Consigliatissimo

Siamo stati in questo ristorante con un gruppo numeroso (15 adulti e 4 bambini) e, nonostante fossimo arrivati tardi, il proprietario ci ha accolti con grande cordialità. Ci ha subito messo a nostro agio e si è fatto in quattro per soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza, proponendoci un menù personalizzato che ha accontentato tutti, grandi e piccini. I piatti erano squisiti, preparati con ingredienti freschi e tipici della zona, e si percepiva tutta la passione del proprietario e dello staff. Non è facile trovare una tale attenzione al cliente, soprattutto per gruppi numerosi e con bambini, ma qui ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Grazie mille per l’ospitalità e la qualità del cibo! Consigliatissimo a chiunque voglia assaporare la vera cucina siciliana con un servizio che va ben oltre le aspettative. Torneremo sicuramente!

Good modernized Sicilian cuisine, highly recommended, good value for money, very well looked after by the host, without a doubt if you go to Geraci Siculo don't miss the opportunity to go there 👌

We had Sicilian cuisine for lunch but with a modern touch. Well served and accompanied by Antonio, who also offered us a spectacular Nero d'Avola. Highly recommended, go for it!

Wonderful hosts with regional and seasonal dishes, absolute recommendation and worth a visit. Don't miss it. The view from the terrace is absolutely amazing.
