Xiao Shenyang 小沈阳 In Roma

As someone from Northeast China, I was surprised to find such authentic Northeastern cuisine in Italy. The owner was clearly from Northeast China. Some people might think Northeasterners are too direct or impolite, but that's not true at all; this is just the Northeastern character. I did read some reviews mentioning poor service, but that's probably a cultural difference. They offer QR code ordering, which might be unfamiliar to many people living abroad, but it made me feel right at home. The food was truly exceptional, incredibly authentic!

Delicious! It's rare to find authentic and affordable Northeastern Chinese cuisine in Europe. We went quite late, and the owner was probably a bit tired and a little indifferent, but the food was very impressive. Rome is made great by this restaurant.

Delicious! The eggplant is exquisite, and the other dishes are also carefully prepared and delicious. We'll be back! I'm back after a while. The prices are incredibly high; a dish costs 14 euros! Insane. Truly excessive. It's a shame, as there are many other quality Chinese restaurants nearby at much lower prices. It's a shame.

It's delicious! We ordered spring rolls, rice with vegetables, and stir-fried meat; everything was delicious, the food tastes like delicious homemade food.

I've been going to this place regularly for over a year and have always had a good experience. The food isn't the typical Chinese fare you're used to in Rome; there are some unique noodle dishes and Sichuan stews that are worth trying. The fried eggplant is a must. The place is clean, small but well-maintained, and has a bar at the entrance. If you're expecting luxury service, this isn't the place for you. However, if you're looking for a welcoming place with traditional dishes and are comfortable using the electronic menu provided (as is now the case in many other places), you'll be sure to return time and time again. Reservations may be necessary, especially in the winter, when the place is busiest.
