X-sushi In Genova

This is the place I visit every time when I am coming to Genova. The food is exceptionally good! Highly recommended.

Honest place, little choice for vegetarians

Excellent and fresh food, a lot of variety on the menu, lots of raw and fresh fish, there are also dishes of only raw fish mixed wonderful. Excellent wines. In my opinion the best sushi in Genoa, friendly and nice staff.

PRESS RELEASE THE X-SUSHI RESTAURANT REOPENS TODAY Genoa, 05.07.2024 – We are pleased to announce the reopening of the well-known X-Sushi restaurant in Genoa, which will take place on Friday 5 July. After a short period of precautionary closure imposed by ASL 3, the restaurant is ready to welcome its customers again with renewed commitment to quality and food safety. In recent days, ASL 3 had ordered the temporary closure of the X-Sushi restaurant following an episode involving two customers. The latter had reported symptoms of stomach ache and had sought treatment at the Galliera hospital, assuming a possible correlation with what they had consumed at the restaurant, which had also served around 150 people that evening. The intervention of ASL 3 had led to the detection of still hot boiled rice in the restaurant kitchens, which could have contained traces of "Bacillus Cereus", a bacterium commonly found in various types of cereals. As a precaution, the ASL had therefore ordered the temporary closure of the premises. The two patients were discharged after the absence of this bacillus within their digestive systems was confirmed. The discomfort of the two subjects therefore has no correlation with what they ate at X-Sushi, nor did the ASL investigations lead to the identification of this bacillus among the foodstuffs present in the restaurant's kitchens. With the forced closure - which was therefore absolutely precautionary - the restaurant renewed the entire kitchen flooring and optimized the machinery. From this evening, loyal customers can resume their habits. “We are extremely grateful to our customers for their understanding and support during this time,” said Lili, owner of X-Sushi restaurant. “The safety of our customers is our top priority, and we are committed to ensuring that all of our standards are met at the highest level.” We invite everyone to visit the X-Sushi restaurant starting today evening Friday 5 July and enjoy our renowned Japanese cuisine in a safe and welcoming environment.

We visited "X Sushi" restaurant in Genoa and we were absolutely thrilled! 🌟 The service was top-notch: excellent and fast, with polite and attentive staff who were always smiling and happy to help with our choices. And now to the main point — the sushi! These are truly the fresh and most delicious sushi in the city — the fish melts in your mouth, the rice is perfectly prepared, and the presentation is elegant and virtuous. We especially appreciated the great lunch deals — amazing value for the price. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all our friends!
