I had dinner here with my family on a Saturday evening. The truly super owner welcomes each of his customers in the best way and dedicates every little attention to each one. The cuisine was truly phenomenal, every course consumed was truly excellent. The place is very elegant and welcoming. Absolutely recommended!!!

Arrived by chance and it was a great surprise: welcoming environment, very nice food, very kind owner and staff. I recommend it and we will definitely be back!

Place in the center of the town, very well looked after, the staff are knowledgeable and very kind, convenient parking in a nearby square. The dishes are of a high standard with refined flavours, the wine list is superior to the norm as it is a wine bar. I highly recommend it.

Very nice meal with our family. Located in a beautiful village, definitely worth a visit. Cosy atmosphere, and very friendly service. Delicious food and good wine. Extensive range of wines from the region and beyond. Highly recommended.

We stopped by for dinner. Food experiences were a bit mixed. 2 of us ordered steak and they were a bit raw inside. When this was pointed out, they were friendly and should fry them more. This didn't help as they were still raw inside. Some expensive food and drink.

24/11/2024: Beautiful location with stunning views of the Alps. Parking also for campers with water and electricity connection. Very kind staff under the safe and prepared guidance of Sara behind the wheel. Very sensitive and attentive for those who are allergic or celiac. I ate very well in their classic fixed price form. Well done! Advised.
20/11/2024: We stopped in a camper. Excellent dinner at the restaurant and very kind managers. Camper parking area can be improved, the potential is there!

Il Cavolo a Merenda

08/12/2024: Now that I've tried it, I understand why it is so renowned: excellent food, intimate atmosphere, very kind staff who are attentive to customer needs. If I returned to Asti I would return. Absolutely to book in advance. Prices around 35/45 each but it's worth it.
07/12/2024: We entered Cavolo a snack Gourmet (the door slightly after that of the local Cavolo a snack) where there was a fixed menu for €23 including cover charge and we were pleasantly surprised. As an appetizer, polenta with fondue and then the agnolotti first course, all with a good glass of Barbera d'Asti. Courteous staff and the very nice thing in my opinion is seeing before your eyes how the dishes were created. Entrance without architectural barriers. They don't take reservations (we went on the weekend of the Immaculate Conception, I don't know about the other days), so you'd better stop by and see if they have room.
