Wine-dark house In Positano

Excellent find in a hot & busy Positano. We only wanted a snack and this was perfect. A simple menu with hot & cold sandwiches at a reasonable price. Very tasty. Good draught beer too. Very pleasant welcome from the waiter.

We had spent the day at Amalfi and Ravello, and when we disembarked from the ferry decided we wanted a drink (it was a long trip lol) We went to the nearest bar and the prices were prohibitive, so we kept walking… So grateful that we found this restaurant where the prices were very affordable, the waiter was absolutely authentic and adorable. It turns out he was also the owner. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed for food, even though we had only intended to have a drink. Don’t miss this place, it would be easy to do so, but the food is outstanding and the prices are excellent. It’s a local restaurant where the food is all home-made-not a tourist trap.
