Beautifully situated on Sonnenberg with a magnificent panoramic view. But the food is amazing. Absolutely delicious, tasty, and beautifully presented! I would give it more than 5 points if I could.

We arrived for a late lunch and were served without any problems, even though the kitchen was supposed to close 15 minutes later. The bacon dumplings with chanterelle mushrooms were amazing, and the venison burger came with the most delicious potato wedges I've ever eaten. There were also some exciting drink combinations we hadn't seen anywhere else, like Campari with white wine. The terrace offers a great view and is covered, even in the rain. We really enjoyed it!

Simple but overall positive, the Weinberghof is a rest stop and stopover for hikers, given the many trails available. It should be treated as such; nothing spectacular, just everything in the right place. Just one caveat: it can be reached by car, but for about a kilometer the road is a single lane, the kind used by tractors in apple orchards (and obviously, there are plenty of them here). There's a nice clearing after the wooden bridge, and then the rest is on foot. The owner admits he doesn't speak Italian very well, but that's no big deal; English is available. The only downside: the coffee is awful.

Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches Personal, schönes Ambiente mit toller Aussicht. Nur der Anfahrtsweg könnte mal saniert werden.
