Weinberghof In Naturno

We arrived for a late lunch and were served without any problems, even though the kitchen was supposed to close 15 minutes later. The bacon dumplings with chanterelle mushrooms were amazing, and the venison burger came with the most delicious potato wedges I've ever eaten. There were also some exciting drink combinations we hadn't seen anywhere else, like Campari with white wine. The terrace offers a great view and is covered, even in the rain. We really enjoyed it!

Simple but overall positive, the Weinberghof is a rest stop and stopover for hikers, given the many trails available. It should be treated as such; nothing spectacular, just everything in the right place. Just one caveat: it can be reached by car, but for about a kilometer the road is a single lane, the kind used by tractors in apple orchards (and obviously, there are plenty of them here). There's a nice clearing after the wooden bridge, and then the rest is on foot. The owner admits he doesn't speak Italian very well, but that's no big deal; English is available. The only downside: the coffee is awful.

A hidden restaurant with an impressive driveway and a small parking lot – you can also park on the lawn next to a house and then walk through a beautiful plant tunnel to the restaurant. A fantastic view and pleasant music await you on the terrace. The wheat beer was perfect – the glass was cool and poured beautifully. The farmer's macaroni was fantastic: a generous portion, ingredients carefully selected, and a real hit in terms of taste. My only wish: leave out the anise bread – I know it's decorative and regional, but not everyone likes it. All in all, a fantastic visit with great service. Prices are a bit higher, but the service is 100% top-notch. We'd love to come back tomorrow or next year!

Five stars, absolutely deserved! Beautiful ambiance, both inside and outside on the terrace overlooking the apple orchards. The food is simply outstanding! Lovingly decorated, and the products are all regional and locally produced. We'll definitely be back! 😊

We highly recommend the Weinberghof. The service is very friendly and attentive, the food is excellent, featuring fresh, regional produce, and the view from the terrace is also beautiful. The Weinberghof surprises with dishes that aren't offered everywhere, such as burgers and spare ribs, as well as seasonal dishes on the daily menu. The drinks selection is good, and the prices are very reasonable.

It was delicious, the best food in South Tyrol! The staff was also very friendly and gave a homely feel.
