I am always critical to dine at restaurants inside the city centre because so many restaurants are really not serving good food but charging you a lot.
Vuciata is an exception. The fish there is so fresh and delicious. We tried the grilled octopus with mash potatoes and sarde a beccafico alla catanese. Both are unbelievably good especially the octopus.

We came for the Pasta 2 times and they were really really good,the pasta the sauce,everything!The Staff was really friendly and so fast!
We will visit next time too!

The food was good. Fried mix fish was great. But I guess it’s hard to go bad either way with that one. The swordfish, sea bass and squid plate was tasty. I do recommend to order their lemonades on the menu and house wine too.

3.5 ⭐️ Lunched in Centro fish & market area, had the Octopus starter-meat a bit tough, Sea Bass-not much flavor. Friend had swordfish carpaccio-no flavor, a steak cut and rated it a 3, hard to cut, pulled out veins 😵 a lot of fat. Staff was good but didn’t check back for a second round of drinks. Multiple seating areas inside and street.

I am pleased to the waiter who grants my wish for the dish that I was dying to try to and was not on the menu which is swordfish with eggplant and mint a very authentic sicilian dish that blew my expectation. We enjoyed the pastas we had and loved it. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

We absolutely loved Vuciata in Catania! The restaurant is right in the middle of a lively market street, which makes the atmosphere vibrant and fun. We tried the seafood risotto, mixed fried fish, spaghetti with shrimp and fennel, and a tiramisu. Everything was incredible. The flavors were fresh, perfectly balanced, and full of character. It was so good that we came back a second day just to enjoy it again. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Catania and craving amazing italian food!

The fish was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked, full of flavor and beautifully presented.
You can tell this is a place where locals eat, authentic, simple, and focused on quality.
If you're looking for fresh seafood in Sicily, this spot is a must-try. We’re so glad we followed the local advice!

Booked but no table on arrival. Set one up around the corner on the street. Focus on quantity over quality at this resteraunt…food was all a bit rushed and not highest quality compared to other restaurants

A great place to eat, drink, and relax. The staff is super friendly. We especially found Yasin and Fernando to be extremely nice. We highly recommend them!
