01/01/2025: We waited for the new year in this splendid and wonderful place. From the moment you arrive, seeing the location and the style of furniture you are immediately involved in a magical atmosphere. Nice, welcoming, polite, helpful staff... from the security, to the girls who welcome you at the entrance, to the dining room staff... The dishes are real tasting experiences of the best Argentine specialties...obviously the wine cannot be outdone...super-stocked cellar! The live shows are engaging and exciting... the male and female dancers are as talented as the singers... There is nothing that can disappoint expectations... Everything is truly well looked after and refined to ensure the customer can fully enjoy the Porteno Prohibido experience.. Surely after having spent an excellent New Year's Eve evening... we will return often to relive the experience and enjoy excellent Argentine cuisine.

30/12/2024: I would like to point out that we had a nice evening, but there were some things that I didn't appreciate at all. It's the first time we went to this restaurant and I had very high expectations since I had wanted to go there for a long time. I made a reservation by phone for an 8pm dinner with show. We arrive at the restaurant a quarter of an hour early and the girl at the reception told us that it was early to have dinner because there was no one there and insistently invites us to have an aperitif. Quite disconcerted we sit down and the prices are exorbitant, €18 for a Spritz!!!! Crazy. At that point we tell the waiter not to take anything and that we are waiting to enter. After two minutes we can magically enter the room for dinner. We start to go past the red curtains when again the girl at the reception abruptly tells us that we cannot enter, that we have to wait for the other girl to be assigned a table (and in any case there were already other people in the room at the table). We are really dumbfounded and I'm also starting to get nervous since I know that the place is quite exclusive and this treatment doesn't seem appropriate at all. We finally go inside to sit down and when I sit down I almost end up on the floor because the chair had a broken leg. The table for two people was really tiny to the point that I had to ask for something to put my bag on since it didn't have a long shoulder strap. The food was very good and the waitress who served us was really good and kind, the show was really wonderful, everyone was very good, I would have enjoyed it much better if I had had a better view (they put us on the side of the stage near the open kitchen) . PS. For such a venue I would expect there to also be a cloakroom for coats, as the dilapidated chairs are very small to place a winter coat on.
