A must-try for a good coffee or an excellent lunch. A simple yet elegantly designed place where you feel right at home. Well-crafted local cuisine, excellent homemade bread, and excellent local extra virgin olive oil. My favorite dishes are: "Ravioli alla scapolese" and "Cotoletta alla griglia," a treat for the palate. Friendly and helpful staff, average prices.

Located along the road leading to the local ski resorts, it's a pleasant stop for both the food and the warm welcome. Try the appetizers, the excellent Scapolesi ravioli, and the homemade desserts.

I've been to this restaurant for lunch twice. The place is clean. The prices are reasonable, and the food is plentiful and high-quality. The staff is friendly, prompt, and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

We visited Ristorante Volturno, in the province of Isernia, and I must say the experience was truly memorable. We began with a simple yet extraordinary first course: pasta with cherry tomatoes and caciocavallo cheese, flavorful and balanced. The main course arrived immediately after: a 1.100-kg Portuguese Friesian steak, frozen to perfection and served with great professionalism. The meat was tender, juicy, and authentic, enhanced by an elegant presentation. The homemade French fries were a surprise: crispy, light, and of a truly high standard, the perfect accompaniment. Even the house wine, despite being reasonably priced, was excellent and paired perfectly with all the dishes. The staff stands out for their expertise, courtesy, and customer service, qualities that make the experience even more enjoyable. It's no surprise that the restaurant is always busy, as the professionalism and passion for cooking are evident here. A restaurant that combines gastronomic excellence, hospitality, and a refined atmosphere. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I visited Volturno Ristorante e Bar in Molise and was truly impressed. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and meticulously prepared (I really appreciated that they served the ladies first). The menu was truly extensive and delicious, with dishes offered at very reasonable prices. We started with a mix of appetizers, which would have been enough on their own, but we couldn't resist trying the first courses. I highly recommend the ravioli scapolese (off-menu, a real treat) or the burrata and cherry tomato ravioli with pesto and stracciatella. We'll definitely be back!

I was lucky enough to try the cuisine at the Volturno restaurant, a wonderful discovery. Fabulous, flavorful appetizers, not to mention the first courses...delicious! The staff was attentive to every need and very friendly. I highly recommend dining here for anyone who wants to experience traditional Molise cuisine; we'll definitely be back!

On our way back from Castel di Sangro, since it was lunchtime, we decided to stop. We ordered a platter for two, perhaps a bit too expensive at €25. A first and second course were €10 and €14 respectively, which is a fair price here, and a bottle of water—wine was avoided for the drive home. The 5 stars weren't given for the price of the platter.

We stopped by here with our family on our trip. The place was packed, but they kindly found us a seat anyway. The pasta dishes were delicious, with authentic flavors and generous portions. A truly pleasant experience... highly recommended!
