Voltasio Pizza Napoletana In Cosenza

We call to make a reservation (there are 3 of us), and they tell us it's not possible, there are only a few of us.... Well, On the menu they say they make 100% whole wheat pizzas. They say they ran out of dough (at 8:00 PM), well.... 3 stars, and I'm generous.

What can I say? The pizza is truly excellent, as is everything else, but the service is truly terrible, in my opinion. They wouldn't let me book for two people because, "If there's just two of you, we'll find you a table right away, no need to book." As a result, I was given a table near the door on a very cold evening, and I had to dine in my jacket. It's a shame, because the ingredients are truly delicious.

Good pizza, expensive, the place is a bit pretentious, it thinks it's a Michelin-starred restaurant.

We went to Voltasio on a Saturday night, so we waited outside until 10 pm, but the wait was made pleasant by the lady taking our names: she was really friendly, nice, and even offered us some wine while we were waiting in line. The fries were very good, but the real highlight was the pizza. We had a bufalina and a pollino: so good we devoured them in no time. I would have liked to try the desserts too, but we were so full 😭 It will be the perfect excuse to come back a second time! Everyone was very friendly, you can tell it's a family-run business: it really feels like home. Highly recommended.

Dinner at Voltasio, a restaurant known for its quality dough and attentive service. We started with a pasta frittatina with ragù, beautifully crafted: crispy on the outside, flavorful yet surprisingly light. Next, two pizzas. Unfortunately, the tuna and onion pizza wasn't entirely convincing: the onion, likely added after cooking, was raw and overpowering, compromising the overall balance of the flavors. The 'mpacchiusa, on the other hand, lacked a touch of salt, and the sausage, lacking flavor, didn't offer the punch of flavor one expects from this type of pizza. Worth mentioning, however, was the excellent dough, easy to digest and well-leavened, and the service was courteous and precise, even on a busy evening. The rather long wait times and the feeling that the pizzas were finished quickly suggest the oven was overloaded. In summary: an overall positive experience, with a few imperfections likely due to the particularly busy evening. I will gladly return to give Voltasio a second chance, convinced that under the right conditions he can offer an even higher level.

The frittatine are incredible, the classic one is very crunchy and very balanced inside, the ragù is incredible, a white ragù as good as few and also very creamy, the Montanare have an incredible sauce that with the mozzarella and basil makes you feel at home and the montanara itself has a dough that makes it seem like eating a cloud but fried perfectly, as for pizzas we had the pollino and it was a spectacle, a mix of flavors that together make the palate explode (first time I eat truffle and not stomach), and the meatball is also delicious, what can I say, quality ingredients and very kind staff, congratulations to everyone, you are to be recommended!! 👏🏼

An excellent pizzeria in the Cosenza area, specializing in Neapolitan pizza, made with quality ingredients and an excellent, soft, and well-leavened dough. It's definitely one of my go-to pizzerias. The restaurant features a modern, spacious, and well-lit atmosphere, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. It's ideal for a romantic dinner in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, or for an evening with friends or family. The staff stands out for their courtesy and helpfulness, contributing to an overall very positive experience. Prices are affordable and commensurate with the quality offered. It's a shame that parking isn't always easy to find, but overall, it's a pizzeria that combines professionalism, flavor, and a warm welcome: highly recommended.
