We stopped for dinner with the rest of the group. Just enough time to wait until we were all seated and they served dinner. The matriciana is good and plentiful, the grilled meat is good.

Voor iemand die graag ,simpel en goedkoop eet is dir een ferfecte plaats. Personeel is vriendelijk. Eten was heerlijk.

11/11/2024: The service was good, but our chicken and pasta were microwaved. I know because I heard the microwave turned on for both our meals and served immediately after each heating. We were the only people inside so we could heat it all. A ridiculous price for microwave food compared to more authentic places near by.
22/09/2024: Basic and authentic Italian bar. If taste and hospitality counts more for you than extravagant interior, than this is the right place to go. We had a pasta and a chicken dish, two beers and a glas of white wine for 55€. FYI, I ordered some specil beer that comes with 8€/bottle, not that you wonder about the end price 😅 For a place in the center of a tourist spot this is an acceptable price. Keeping in mind the good taste and the supportive service the lady who runs the place is giving. Thanks for the nice dinner and experience 🙏 Ps. To the comment below of Nicolas about the prices, sorry, but this is nonsens. The prices are "normal" and indicated, please read before complaining. If you want to go for low prices, you better look for restaurants down in the valley outside from Assisi 😉

28/12/2024: Particularly pleasant experience in Montefalco. Table with large window overlooking the square, excellent bread, amazing stew. I asked for and received a decanter for the chosen Sagrantino.
