We will have had eight granitas here in two days (and there are two of us). Place discovered thanks to our Host who recommended super typical places, we tried the granitas and what can I say...the best in Syracuse hands down. We recommend the one with ricotta and mulberries. The guys at the counter are young and super kind, a pleasure to come back!!!

Found this place thanks to the positive reviews and I must say we weren't wrong! For the first time in 30 years of coming to Sicily, I found a ricotta granita, it was spectacular! I recommend everyone to try it!!

Delicious gelato, had the brioche with 3 scoops, lots of choice plus pastries, v.nice indeed, good service, small inside area and more seats outside, good value for quality

The product, the ice cream, definitely gets five stars and is considered the best in Syracuse. Unfortunately, the shop is relatively small, which is why we prefer to have the ice cream put in thermo boxes and take it with us. The other products besides ice cream were always great. Can be easily reached on foot from the city center (Ortigia).

04/01/2025: One of the best croissants and granitas ever. Brioche still made by hand, leavened for 12 hours. Crazy.
22/12/2024: Friendly and helpful owner, good breakfast and ok service. Good bar and a good pastry shop in the center of Ortigia.👍👍👍👍👍

At Pippo's, yes Pappa really, delicious croissants but also pastries or Romana or donuts in short you are spoiled for choice on what to enjoy for breakfast. . And when summer arrives then the king of granita brings out, like a magician from his hat, the lady granita whether it is almond, lemon, mulberry, pistachio, coffee, chocolate, strawberry or ricotta with or without cream they are all unique and delicious. You can feel the quality and freshness of the ingredients, accompanied by the legendary brioches with tuppo without tuppo or the rolls. Take a break, come down and let yourself be won over by the goodness and you will see the king of granita at work who will delight you with his courtesy and kindness. . Plus home service. .
01/11/2024: Excellent bar where you can go for a good coffee or an exquisite typical Sicilian breakfast, made of croissant and granita with various flavours. Good service and friendly and entertaining owner Pippo, whose appearance is a real invitation to "have a meal".
