It's a shame that the terrace is smoking-friendly, as the cigarette smoke is everywhere given the small distance between the tables.

If you’re visiting the Giardino Bardini and need a coffee before or after gelato after, then turn down the street to Vivaldi. The gelato in particular is amazing, especially the pistachio! Cosy to sit inside or seating on a quiet street if you prefer an outside option. Barista was also very welcoming and friendly.

We stayed just above during our trip to Florence, and we really couldn't have had a better stay! The ice creams are excellent, with a special mention for the hazelnut and pistachio ones. The desserts are homemade and absolutely delicious. There is also a wide selection for drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. The owner and staff are very welcoming and always smiling. We came back several times during our stay... and we will really miss it! 🤩

Everything is just great. The coffee, the food and also the place itself . We had a conversation with the man, talked a lot about the culture, coffee and many more. Love it

05/06/2025: Best Gelato in Florence! There is a wide range of Flavours such as pecorino cheese and olive oil. The fruit tastes beautiful and is freshly sourced and made fresh every day. The Granita is the best I have ever had it is so fruity and Authentic. The owner is very helpful when choosing flavours and a kind lady.
04/06/2025: This is the best gelato place in Tuscany! Very authentic and flavorful!! The cannoli is also phenomenal with ricotta filling. I wish I found this place sooner!!

27/06/2025: A charming setting, very romantic, bordering on gourmet. Impeccable service, attentive staff, and refined cuisine. Excellent wine; we had the I Toscana. Without doubt, the best meat I've ever eaten. The cooking was perfect, and the portion recommended by the staff was impeccable (around 600g/person). I can only recommend this place.
