It's difficult to simply describe the satisfaction I felt when I left this small restaurant in an even smaller village in the Bergamo area. Three friends and I devoured half the menu, and every dish was surprising, perfectly cooked, and of the highest quality. The grill is masterful. We were looked after, expertly assisted in choosing wines and cuts of meat, and pampered right up until the desserts (also excellent) and liqueurs were served. We appreciated the friendliness of Mary and the entire staff, who made us feel like welcome guests rather than mere customers. One of the best dinners we've ever had in the area—it seems impossible, but we found everything truly superb. In a word, fantastic.

Quality and simplicity, this is the essence of this place. Authentic flavors, from polenta cooked over the fire with local ingredients, to fresh cured meats and tasty cheeses from the valley, and grilled meat expertly recommended by the chef-owner and cooked "in full view" and with passion. Note the display of cuts of meat to choose from, but in my opinion, it's better to trust the chef's expertise. Simple and tidy, with lovely, attentive service and a family atmosphere. Well done. The wine selection is good, perfectly complementing the hearty dishes, but there are also a few gems to discover by browsing the cellar. You leave the table and already want to return! Reservations are highly recommended, and in advance.

A friend and I went to try the meat menu at this restaurant. It was truly spectacular. We started with appetizers, including homemade sauces, cured meats, and cheeses. Then came the specialty: arrosticini (mutton and veal), salami, and chicken wings. A tender sliced ​​steak that melted in the mouth. And finally, the pork cooked at a low temperature: exceptional. The location is in the hills of Albino with a spectacular view. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
