Vintage Jazz In Como

Very nice place to drink a cocktail and eat a good meal. Pleasant jazz atmosphere and very friendly service.

We had lunch during a stay in Como, an excellent place in the centre. Even though it was November 1st, we ate outdoors in a cute little corner that they prepared for us in a very short time. We ordered a ''vintage hamburger'' and some tortelli with pumpkin, butter and sage, accompanied by an excellent glass. Impeccable service, friendly, helpful and professional staff. We were very satisfied.

Excellent appetizers and pleasant music

Very nice place. The interior is stylish and the exterior is also pleasant thanks to a friendly piazza and one of the most famous "green" alleys right next to the entrance. It's nice to stop off here after wandering through the winding streets of the old town.

We had two different pasta for lunch, and their carbonara was exceptional. It is a nice place to sit at the evening for a aportivo and for dinner.

This place is centrally located with a cozy outdoor seating area. It all started so well. I got a table and was ready to enjoy the people, the atmosphere and the sunshine that hit me (not many places have the sun shining on you in Como town in the fall). A friendly waiter served me a glass of wine and olives, etc. But when it was 3 p.m., everything stopped. Orders we give are not followed up. Reminders don't help. We politely asked three times if the drinks we ordered would arrive soon. The waiters said yes, but they did not follow up and did not pass the message on. In the end we chose to leave without getting the things we had ordered. We learned that the drinks we had ordered were ready, only no one had brought them to us. Most of the waiters had a break/off during this period, we noticed, but that does not help the guests. But approx. 40 minutes waiting for three drinks that didn't arrive is not pleasant. We naturally chose not to order food here when it all started like this. Not recommended between 3pm and 7pm. Maybe it's better earlier, then at least there were more waiters.

Great place! A visit is worth it!

Visitado durante las vacaciones. Nos sentamos afuera disfrutando del ambiente local. El personal era amable y me hizo recomendaciones fantásticas. Nuestros dos platos principales de pasta de ragout y raviolis rellenos de queso en langosta bisque eran increíbles. Sin duda recomendaría.
