I had stayed in Ceglie for three nights, and I tried some trop 5 restaurants based on Tripadvisor for the first two days, they were all nice. I came to this restaurant by chance on my third night, but after trying the food, I regretted that I hadn’t discovered it earlier. It is the best of my 3 days journey in this area. The menu is very interesting. There are something you don’t normally find elsewhere, such as donkey stew. The assorted starters are amazing, very general portion and 90% are freshly cooked. The arancini is the best I have ever had, outside is crispy, inside is very light. I am not a big arancini fan, but the one I has here is fantastic.

Don't miss the assortment of appetizers, a true journey into Puglia. It's a small restaurant with scattered tables, including outside, on the edge of the town's beautiful piazza. We always love returning.

Would you have bet you'd eat an exceptional paella in Ceglie Messapica? Well, try it and believe it. Excellent hospitality, pleasant atmosphere, appetizers with flavors from times gone by. Don't go there, we might not get a table.

We arrived in this white village around 2pm and almost everything was closed, except for this cosy place! Their terrace was located in the shade, really nice and there was only a hand full of people.
We ordered vino bianco and antipasti to share together. Well the antipasti were 11 (!) different and delicious bites. See the photos. Cold, hot, traditional food, all very tasty!
We ordered a first course, pasta, as well but that was too much, although it tasted as well delicious!
The service was quick and good, although a bit more time between the courses would have been preferred.
Overall we would recommend the his restaurant!
