Vini Sultana In Pachino

WE AVOIDED THE CLASSIC TOURIST-TRAP RESTAURANTS AND OPTED FOR A WINE TASTING ACCOMPANIED BY GOOD FISH-BASED TASTINGS IN THIS CELLAR BEAUTIFULLY MANAGED BY THE SIGN. ROSARIO AND FAMILY.THE OWNERS WERE VERY KIND, THEY WERE WITH US THE WHOLE EVENING AND EXPLAINED ALL THE VARIETIES OF WINES AND DISHES, YOU CAN SEE THEY DO THIS WORK WITH LOVE....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We spend 10 days in Sicily and this family was by far the friendliest! They make gorgeous wines and the mother knows how to cook... Delicious local food. This is a must visit if you're in the area.

We booked to have an aperitif with tasting of 3 home-produced wines. Corrado and his mother welcomed us, very kind and friendly. They served us very good local products accompanied by white and red wines. We had a very good time outdoors, under a porch, at sunset.

Tasting of four home-produced wines which accompanied an abundant selection of local products (truly local!!!). We ordered "the farmer's menu"... which we couldn't finish. We were entertained and pampered by the family producing Sultana wines in the silence and peace of their company. Everything was perfect. Compliments. We will definitely be back. 12 July 2023: One year later, today I returned, as promised, I found the same friendliness and the same discreet presence of the owners who leave you all the time to enjoy the colors of the sunset, the silence of the countryside, the smell of the dishes, the scent of the wines, immersed in a captivating atmosphere. It's impossible not to be captivated by it. August 29, 2024: back for the third consecutive year (is there a reason?). This year the tasting consisted of 5 wines (unlimited refill!!!): Moscato (excellent), rosé, Sangiovese (new), Nero d'Avola and Siracusa (excellent). As usual, the tasting is accompanied by abundant local dishes, equivalent to a rustic dinner that ends with a "canolo" with ricotta (not razor clams!!!) making you leave absolutely full. Congratulations, in other places bread with oil, two olives... and off you go!!!.

Fantastic evening!! We took the fisherman's menu and the goodness of the dishes cannot be described!! Excellent raw materials, not to mention the wines! All accompanied by explanations from the Sultana family ❤️ a truly exceptional experience

Overall a pleasant situation: truly excellent, thoughtful and effective food, all as a side dish to this tasting of home-produced wines. A peculiarity: you can see and feel the family management! Moderate prices for a "tasting" that has nothing to envy of a dinner! Situations like this deserve much more space, I'm curious to come back and discover what's new from the Sultana family! A very pleasant discovery during our stay in Marzamemi. Attracted by the positive comments we booked a tasting with a farmer's menu. We were delighted by the excellent quality of the food, the preparation and the great competence of Corrado, who presented to us in an extremely passionate (and professional) manner the 5 wines of his production that would best accompany the tasting. Suggestive location located in the Marzamemi countryside. The evening was made even more pleasant thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of the whole family. A round of applause to the Chef mother who presented the dishes to us by referring to some anecdotes from the past. If you are in Marzamemi you absolutely must try it! Ps: Cannolo with nero d'Avola dough, indescribable!!!

Delicious dinner and a generous degustation of the local wines. The family is absolutely wonderful - kind, attentive, sharing lots of details about the wines. The unexpected parts of tuna, roasted peppers, mackerel, other homemade antipasti and pie, as well as the cannolo more biscuity and delectable than those of the pasticceria - highly recommended! 😋 🍷 Try their gorgeous Nero d'Avola, exciting sangiovese, fresh moscato and rosé. The owner was so kind, his father accompanied us in the dark road on the way back, what a kind beautiful gesture! Thanks so much.

Beautiful experience and unforgettable evening for a few close friends... tastings of 0 km cuisine and various types of excellent wines!! Very friendly and helpful hosts... we will definitely come to visit you at FIVI 2024 in Bologna! See you soon
