An absolute hidden gem. I stumbled upon this place completely by chance, and it turned into one of my favorite local experiences. Cozy, family-run atmosphere, calm and authentic – the kind of place you don’t find by searching, only by being lucky. The owner personally took care of me with genuine, almost fatherly kindness – showed me where I could charge my phone, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me like a regular even though it was my first visit. With the mozzarella came excellent extra-virgin olive oil and a basket of fresh bread, just because – no fuss, no upselling, just hospitality. Everything felt sincere, local, and deeply human. Not a tourist spot, but a place with soul. If you’re looking for a real, unpolished Italian experience, this is it. Absolutely sensational.

Vini e Buffet is a very simple wine bar that hides a family restaurant with great potential. The service is a bit aloof but fast, and the place doesn't have many seats, so it fills up quickly. The menu isn't as carefully crafted as the presentation, yet what you get is a true explosion of flavor, especially their tonnarello cacio e pepe. If you find yourself in this place, don't be fooled by its aesthetics; come in, sit down, and enjoy some excellent home-cooked food. Congratulations!

Family-run restaurant, the food is delicious even though the menu isn't extensive. You can also have a beer on the small terrace.

We happened upon this spot for lunch. Delicious non touristy and reasonably priced food and wine. We had the vegetarian couscous and the chick pea and porcini soup. Both were very good. The salads looked great too.

This place is everything you're looking for while walking the city streets. Traditional food, a place where locals go to eat, with a good value for money, highly recommended.
