I was looking forward to this place after watching “Somebody Feed Phil”. The pork chop is heavily overpriced in my opinion. 70 euro is no joke, granted it can feed a party of 4 rather easily. If you can get past the insanely strong vinegar smell and taste. When they first put the plate down your eyes will water from how strong the vinegar smell just smacks every corner of your nose. The pork chop itself gives your brain mixed signals that it’s going to be crispy, considering this just came out the kitchen, nope. It’s soggy as can be.
We had the tagliatelle and it was good. Not something to write home about compared to other places in Italy but also not Olive Garden bad. Overall you can for sure skip this place unless you’re a big fan of pork chops. When you ask for it to go they put it in a bag. Not a box that goes inside a bag, just pork chop bag.

Definitely go here! The pork chop is off the charts. You have to like vinegar and we do. It was also huge - could easily be the main course for at least 3 people. We also enjoyed the radicchio pasta. The starters were a miss for us as was the tiramisu. The tiramisu was mainly just the cream portion and while it was very tasty (would have been great with berries) there wasn’t enough ladyfingers or coffee flavor for us.
They were very welcoming, the restaurant was busy but everyone checked in on us through the meal.

Absolutely one of the best meals I've ever had the pounded pork with vinegar was one of the most outstanding dishes ever. The Radicchio and pasta with red sauce will make any pasta lover Happy. The owner and staff are amazing. You must go here!

Outstanding dinner—the pork chop was incredible and the Spaghetti Siciliano was perfect. It was great chatting it up with Beniamin and Ernesto while enjoying the atmosphere of this historic place.

A truly amazing experience!
This restaurant is a must try destination. The food is simply sublime, the atmosphere is authentic and steeped in the history you would expect from somewhere that has been operating for over 52years. A warm friendly place that prides itself on not serving fish, and serves top quality meat cooked to perfection. The pork chop with vinegar is a go to for most (including me) and the fillet steak is also a winner.
Do yourself a favour and book a table!

We were welcomed by the loveliest owner and founder of the restaurant. The pork chop was so unique, very flavourful and the eggplant dish was very appetising, perfect to start your meal with. Both vinegary flavors. Wish we could try more dishes but the pork chop was massive! My family and I had a great time here, thanks for the recommendation Phil!

Amazing pork chop and bolognese. Very authentic and first evening meal in Venice. Owners clearly very passionate about their restaurant and showed us photos of famous guests. Pork chop so big that we had to bag it up and take it back to the apartment. Wonderful.
Most expensive meal of our Venice stop but worth it for the experience.

Se encontró con Vini el Arturo mientras buscaba un restaurante con algunas opciones vegetarianas. ¡Qué bueno que sí! La carbonara vegetariana y una pasta radicchio de cocción lenta se cocinaron a la perfección.
El ambiente es lo que realmente lo hace. El restaurante es casi imperceptible desde la calle y, como resultado, es acogedor, relajante y nada turístico en el interior. El personal era muy acogedor y feliz de reducir la velocidad y charlar. Nos encantó su álbum de fotos!
¡Solo estoy triste de que no pudimos quedarnos más tiempo porque estaba muy jet lag! Sin duda un lugar para visitar y volver a visitar cuando en Venecia.

Uno de mis lugares favoritos para comer cuando estoy en Venecia! Comida increíble en un ambiente pintoresco. Disfrute de platos únicos recién preparados que no serán sus típicas pastas y mariscos. Ha existido durante décadas por una razón.
