Our favorite restaurant in Venice.

The food is simple and great! Service was very nice! The place is small and cozy and has a decent atmosphere, but I have to unfortunately say that it is absolutely overpriced for the quality of the place and the experience. It is more expensive and de facto same quality - than most tourist traps in Venice. I went on the hopes to go to local, highly but fairly priced good quality place, unfortunately the experience does not live up to the prices.

Back to Venice … and Da Arthuro ! Warm welcome and incredible cuisine. You won’t find any seafood here, but only the best pasta and veal or pork in the Cité. Try the grilled vegetables as a side. Book in advance, the place is small and always full !

A good pork chop – if you like vinegar flavor. A large portion – one chop – for three adults. Atmospheric, friendly service. Photos of famous people are available for viewing. The price is high considering our earnings. They also add a 5 euro place setting fee to the final price. With a small child, we paid an additional 20 euros. This added up to a hefty sum. The chop alone cost 56 euros, plus salad and water – we paid 93 euros. With a navigation system, you could walk right past the restaurant and miss it.

As soon as you enter this small restaurant, you immediately feel welcomed and at home. The atmosphere is intimate and very cozy. The appetizers are a unique journey through Venetian tradition... hard to resist! The main courses (pasta/meat) will please all palates... and the portions are generous, perfect for sharing. Reservations are recommended.

I recommend it. The prices are high. It's worth it. The pasta is good. The tiramisu is wonderful, the coffee is excellent.

Oh my! What a treat!!! We felt so welcome into this intimate dining experience with our hosts. You will be treated with such kindness. Yes, the pork chop is a must! Do not be discouraged by reviews of cost, this is a shareable dish of two or even 3 people. We also had the melanzane saor antipasti and each had the spaghetti with artichokes. Too much for two? Perhaps, but we did it! Loved this quiet and quaint experience. Please call for a reservation.
