Stopped in for a quick lunch on a day trip to Sienna. The food was fantastic and the wine and beer selection was very extensive. I really love that they had a lot of local options available.

We discovered this place thanks to the guidebook and we are delighted. To begin with, the place is very pleasant, the decor truly reflects the philosophy of the owners. The wine selection is superb. The service is top-notch and each time the products and wines are explained. As for the cuisine, the products are quality. During our short stay in Siena, we went there twice and had a great time.

If I had a wine bar, I would want it to be just like this one. Quirky, idiosyncratic, devoted to quality, but not caring what anyone else thinks. The owner loves music, so he has photos up of musicians he has liked: Muddy Waters, Janis Joplin, and the Blues Brothers, among others. The menu is short, but interesting. I had a tasting plate of Tuscan cheeses and a couple of glasses of red. The first one was non-descript, a blend of standard northern Italian grapes, but also not expensive. The second was an Italian pinot noir, but more interesting, and still not expensive. Everything about the place is a little chaotic, a little disorderly, as though it were run by your crazy uncle. If you have a sense of whimsy or harbour a certain rebelliousness, you will love it. My favourite moment was when I saw the sign that said No Aperol Spritz. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know.

Pequeño lugar, con cerveza artesanal, buena selección de vinos. Si te gusta el queso azul, este es el lugar para venir en Siena. Tenía un plato de degustación de 6 quesos azules italianos de pequeños productores, todos excelentes y diferentes. También hacen bruschetta grande con varios ingredientes y platos diarios. Tenía los ñoquis, que vienen con gorgonzola. Noté que tenían una foto de David Bowie, mirándote hacia abajo mientras disfrutabas de todo.
