The staff was friendly and the location was excellent, but the experience was disappointing. I had to wait over half an hour for the first course (truffle gnocchi): there were maybe ten gnocchi on the plate, and not even a whiff of truffle. The water arrived promptly, but I had to ask twice for the glass of wine. We left the table still hungry and decided to finish our lunch elsewhere. It's a shame, because at these prices I expected much more.

Grinzane Cavour is known for its castle, but stay for the food at Vineria Sisu. The owner is a lovely woman who makes great good with local ingredients. The fried bread is amazing and the service is good. We ate outdoors across the street and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. And the wine selection is complete with local options that will not disappoint.

In visita a Grinzane C., individuato questo locale per un breve spuntino. Buona la posizione in centro con anche una terrazza all'aperto. Vineria, ma abbiamo preso un primo (un flan di verdure e dei tagliolini alla salsiccia), di buona qualità e sapore. Ambiente giovane e cordiale, pane e grissini abbondanti (non sempre accade...). Caffè molto buono (anche questo non accade sempre...).

07/09/2025: For our first time in Malcesine, we chose this hotel based on the reviews, and everything was as described. Excellent location, the beach in front is very convenient, the rooms are bright and clean (we had a room with a panoramic view), the owners are very kind and friendly, but I have to especially compliment the breakfast. Everything was sooooo good, both sweet and savory, the quality cold cuts (rarely found in hotels), the homemade bread is spectacular, a huge selection of everything, special attention to the seeds/yogurt/jams and fresh fruit. Truly, compliments. We'll be happy to return! We felt at home! Thank you!
