Siamo arrivati a Grinzane Cavour dopo aver rivoluzionato i nostri programmi e ci siamo messi alla ricerca di un posto dove pranzare prima di visitare il castello. Purtroppo era tutto pieno, perfino il ristorante stellato del castello, e la folla non accennava a diminuire, così sbbismo deciso di visitare il castello e aspettare che passasse l’ora di punta. Ottima scelta! Abbiamo trovato subito posto e siamo stati serviti con i giusti tempi, mangiando tra l’altro piatti ottimi. Inoltre, a detta del cameriere, perché noi non ci siamo accorti di nulla, siccome l’attesa per il secondo piatto stava diventando troppa, ci ha omaggiato di vino, coperto, acqua e caffè! Davvero attento e cortese! E il locale è consigliatissimo e si mangia davvero bene.

Nice place in the square in Grinzane Cavour, a stone's throw from the Castle. Informal atmosphere inside. Unfortunately the cuisine does not live up to the location and the courtesy of the staff. Friday lunch. The trio of buschette is good. Both the polenta with sausage and the gnocchi are decidedly less so. Even the cellar is not up to the level of the place. Perhaps higher quality labels would be recommended given the place you are in. A real shame.

Brilliant authentic Italian food. Taste was out of this world and the selection of wines were tremendous. Perfect place to enjoy. Would highly recommend 👌

Very friendly service. The food is - for its quality - overpriced. In regard to wine by the glass: Be aware that they are selling 5 glasses wine out of a bottle 0,75… thus, rather small portions. Given the pricing one would expect 0.2 l per glass.

I had an excellent reinforced aperitif with friends. All the staff very friendly and attentive. I will return with pleasure
