Vineria Macchiavello In Santa margherita ligure

Classica, vecchia, storica vineria di Santa Margherita Ligure, che ha saputo nel tempo sempre rinnovarsi pur nel rispetto della tradizione. Ho cenato con amici ed ho trovato tutto ottimo a cominciare dalla materia prima di alta qualità. Fantastiche le orecchiette al pesto di pistacchi e guanciale croccante, ottimo il petto d’anatra al sapore d’arancio ( in cui finalmente il sapore dell’agrume non copre quello del volatile, ma lo asseconda ) e buonissime le verdurine di contorno, cotte in un modo particolare che non saprei individuare. Ottimo il tagliere di formaggi e superlativo il tiramisù. Il tutto accompagnato da un gradevolissimo Five Roses, vino rosé pugliese, di grande lignaggio e che ha accompagnato pranzi e cene di molti americani ( in onore dei quali si narra sia stato creato ). Lo definirei un vino “ di classe “. Servizio efficiente e ambiente caratteristico e piacevole

Probably one of the best addresses in the city, where we had dinner three times during our stay. The restaurant uses local products, finely cooked and with justified value for money. The service was also perfect and they have very nice and numerous wine references! We recommend!!

The best vitello tonnato we ate in Liguria and the orecchiette al pesto di pistacchio con guanciale were incredible!

The pesto is out of this world - as is the “five roses” Rose wine. You can sit in the street and watch the sunset and the world go by and the Italian language ring about your ears. My server was a beautiful woman who taught me some Italian and made sure I was happy.

Great dishes, nice restaurant, centrally located.

A small restaurant that blew our expectations. Great wine and food. Efficient, customer-oriented and nice waitress. We took a great pulpo and gaspacho, and an amazing tuna in a sesame crust. Maybe one or two vegetarian dishes will be excellent.

Food was simple and standart, but we didn't expect anything else. But this review will be about service. One of the waitress (luckily not ours) was extremely unfriendly and rude. At first, in a very irritable manner, she forbade our waitress to seat us at a larger table. There were 5 of us and a stroller and we had to cram into a narrow table for 4 people, so there was no room for plates. Later she began to argue with the next table, where the english-speaking girls did not want to order the main course, parallel discussing them loudly in Italian with another Italian-speaking woman. In the end they only paid for the water and left. Meanwhile our waitress was very nice and was a bit shocked by the behavior of that other waitress. On my opinion this is an unacceptable service.

The place is warm and the service is excellent. We had pasta and it was the best I had in Santa Margherita, the only downside is that the dishes are bit small.

Abbiamo cenato in due , personale per noi preparato sia sui vini che sul cibo ,eccellente ! I proprietari super simpatici e gentilissimi !! In breve , un bel locale con molta storia e cura nei dettagli , si vede che c’è cuore in tutte le scelte fatte , il cibo è ottimo e i vini beh che dire qui veramente si trova di tutto ! complimenti !! Super consigliato
