Vineria Macchiavello In Santa margherita ligure

A lovely, small restaurant that can get busy. The owner is friendly and helpful with wine selection; ask for the (light Barolo). The menu isn't extensive, but there's plenty of choice, so the quality is also good.

We came here by accident during our 7day holiday in St. Margherita and found that this was our favorite restaurant. It has all you wish and expect when traveling Liguria. Located in the 'second' row in a tiny street you can find here all the ambiente and charmful dishes you keep on talking even weeks and month' after the holiday.

It was excellent! By the way, we'd love to try the red wine we tasted last night (Nero d'Avola) again if you have the reference! 😊 (we were the only three French people outside) Thanks again!

Vineria Machiavelli is a beautiful place, very well located and with truly delicious cuisine. The dishes are carefully prepared and delicious, the service is pleasant, and the place makes you want to linger. It's a shame, however, that the portions are so small... A quality place, which deserves 4 stars, but which would benefit from being a little more generous

Excellent experience! Authentic Ligurian dishes and very nice service. We ordered many things on the menu, but the squid black ink tagliolino with langoustines and burrata were above amazing! It's been days after I had this dish, but I'm still thinking about it. I cannot eat normally, cannot sleep normally. Maybe the best pasta from our almost 2 week trip in Italy. Pistachio Pesto with guanciale, was fantastic

El Macchiavello Enoteca - Aperitivi - Ristorante está situado en una pequeña calle encantadora. Auténtico ambiente italiano. Personal muy agradable, buena comida y vino!

Volví para cenar aquí después de una gran experiencia en 2024. Empezó con dos copas de Prosecco, con un plato de cortesía de salami y mordiscos. Para empezar elegimos las croquetas de jamón/queso y el bistec Tartare. Y dos copas de vino blanco de pigato. Las croquetas eran sólidas, pero no demasiado emocionantes. Excelente por otro lado fue el Tartare. Bonito, fresco y bueno - trozos de tamaño de maravillosa carne de res. ¡Y encima helado! Un helado salado de mostaza. Nunca lo había tenido así antes. Pero la frescura fría de la misma era la combinación perfecta para la carne de res. Un plato increíble. Para la alimentación elegimos el filete de ternera y el cordero. Dos vasos de Red Sangiovese con eso. El cordero estaba muy bien cocinado, tierno y bien aromatizado. La carne de res estaba cocinada a la perfección, agradable sabor a la parrilla y perfectamente tierna. Ambas muy buenas comidas. Para el "postre" tuvimos una copa de Amaro italiano cada uno. Un buen final. Incluso había un vaso en la casa. Pagamos poco más de 150 euros. Un trato justo. Ambiente agradable, personal amable, comida de alta calidad. Y nuestro Bulldog era bienvenido aquí también. Seguramente volveremos.
