01/04/2026: Even though I live nearby, I'd never been there. Some friends who had been there and raved about it, we went together for an evening. And I must say... What a discovery! I'll be returning with my wife to show her a place that, if she doesn't feel like cooking one evening, could be a great fallback.

25/03/2026: ★★★★★ Il Boccale is a true institution in Ciampino, a historic venue with an authentic, family-friendly atmosphere. People come here to enjoy themselves: an evening with friends or family, accompanied by an excellent beer and, above all, a pizza that, without exaggerating, is truly unbeatable. The staff is always friendly and helpful, even on busy nights. We recommend making a reservation, especially on Saturdays, and arming yourself with a little patience: there may be a wait, but the quality makes up for it. One small point: being a historic venue, it could use some updating, particularly regarding the amenities (one bathroom) and accessibility, which is quite difficult for people with disabilities. That said, it remains a must-visit for those who love authentic pizza and simple, yet quality, evenings. You won't regret it!
