A slice of old Pisa in the historic Piazza delle Vettovaglie, a setting that recreates the atmosphere of an ancient tavern, complete with antique cupboards and iceboxes. The platter is generous and rich, and the three tartares offered are mouthwatering, with original and well-chosen pairings. The pici with cavolo nero and hazelnuts are also delicious, the chickpea gnocchi are unusual, and the linguine with lemon butter, smoked herring (perhaps a little too salty), and bottarga are excellent. Attentive service. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing experience! We ate deliciously and the service was excellent. The price was reasonable for everything we ordered, and we drank the complimentary amaro with the manager... wonderful!

Che esperienza! :) Warmly welcomed by the lovely staff. We shared the Fiorentina steak with potatoes which was just divine! Definitely try the cantucci, the best we’ve had! Finally, a great coffee too. Thank you very much! What a wonderful lunch!!

I've been there several times for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant is very distinctive with its varied furnishings, the staff is very courteous, and the service is excellent. The dishes are unique and carefully prepared, and there are always specials available so you never get bored.

01/02/2026: Exquisite cuisine, traditional Tuscan dishes combined with refined haute cuisine. This combination creates wonderful dining experiences. Add to that friendly, discreet yet very attentive service. I've eaten there three times, and each time it's been a top-notch experience.
01/02/2026: We have been a few times and every visit has always been great! Staff are very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Food is very well prepared, always fresh and when in season, home grown. The dishes off the menu are fabulous. A very enjoyable mixture of flavours and unique personal touch stand out and add to the experience. The restaurant is well kept and nicely heated in the winter making it very comfortable. Gladly recommend and look forward to returning.
