Vineria Cozzi is a very old and stylish wine bar and restaurant located in the historical Bergamo Alta region (upper city) of Bergamo, Italy. 🏛️ History and Atmosphere Opened in 1848 as a delicatessen and tobacco shop. Over time, it has become one of Bergamo's most iconic wine houses. The venue preserves its historical texture: stone walls, wooden details, classic table and chair sets and a nostalgic atmosphere. Located within the historic city walls under UNESCO protection. 🍷 Wines and Menu A paradise for wine lovers with over 300 local and natural wine labels. The menu highlights Northern Italian cuisine prepared with creative and modern touches. Every time we come to Bergamo Alta, we have lunch at this restaurant. The menu offers delicious dishes in some cases with particular combinations and presented in a masterly way. The staff is always very kind and friendly. Highly recommended.

What a surprise. The ambiance, service, and food were all in perfect harmony. The restaurant opened in 1848 as the city's first salt and tobacco shop and later developed into a popular meeting place after seeing the theater at the nearby Teatro Sociale. 3 courses 1. Salmon cheesecake 2. Lemon risotto with shrimp tartare And for the main course Beef carpaccio and octopus with chlorophyll potatoes Everything was just right here 👍

High-level cuisine, a place with attention to every detail and excellent service.

The food was delicious, with interesting flavors and well-presented dishes. The ambiance seemed pleasant and beautifully decorated. Even though the city and the restaurant were crowded on the day we were in Bergamo, the service was always efficient and friendly. It was by far the best dining experience on a recent trip to Italy.
