Vineria Casa Ciù In Maruggio

I would have gladly given 5 stars for the kindness of the owner, but the very slow service and above all one episode really pissed me off. I asked for chips for my son and they told me they didn't make them, it's a shame that 10 minutes later, as I got up to go home, I magically saw them on almost all the other tables, I can't explain this. I don't know if I'll go back.

Around Maruggio, fascinated by little lights, there is this wine shop: we took a platter for 2 plus a pinsa. Very very good and local products! Top primitive wine from Manduria! Advice: I would have placed a lamp on the tables for a little more light and atmosphere. Advised

In particular, we purchased a bottle of Salento amaro, a real treat for lovers of local flavours. But that's not all! We also attended a charcuterie and cheese tasting which was a real treat. 🧀🥓 The portions were generous and the products offered were of the highest quality: genuine flavors that reflect the local tradition. Everything was accompanied by fine wines from the same wine shop, making the evening perfect both for an outing with friends and for a more romantic moment as a couple. 💑 The Vineria Casa Ciù is undoubtedly a little jewel that deserves to be discovered. We can't wait to return!

In a valley of tears that is Campomarino di Maruggio, where they have no idea what catering is, we found ourselves in Maruggio town in this Norcineria wine shop where to describe the gastronomic experience with just one word I would say a true and pure enjoyment. Impeccable service, fantastic food quality. Absolutely worth trying. A special compliment to the ownership and management of the cellar and food.

The owner made an extra effort to find a table for my partner and I. Food is very good and top ingredients. Got very nice advice on a top bottle of Primitivo. Don’t miss this place if you are around. Well done guys!

In the center of Maruggio, a nice place with bruschetta platters and a dish of the day (in my case fantastic orecchiette with tomato sauce). Very competent staff in suggesting wine. Excellent evening

A winery that left me really satisfied, both for the quality of the wines and the food. The environment is welcoming, with rustic furnishings that immediately put you at ease. The selection of wines is excellent, with particular attention to local labels and with interesting forays into national labels. Wines perfectly paired with platters of excellent quality cured meats and cheeses, pinsas and bruschetta. The staff is competent and friendly, always ready to recommend the right wine for each dish. A food and wine experience to repeat!

Atmospheric spot in the pretty centre of Marruggio for a glass of wine and great food. The bruschetta with sardine and orange was exceptional and cheese and meat boards also excellent. We had a wonderful family dinner here.

Locale molto carino. Ben organizzato, Ottimi taglieri. Buon vino. Abbiamo mangiato bruschetta (eccellente burrata) , tagliere salumi e formaggi ed una focaccia. Raccomandato.
