Food wise it was just ok.
Not a bad place to eat when is the market but compared to what bologna has to offer it’s not up there on my list.

A wonderful discovery! This restaurant is located in the heart of the Mercato delle Erbe in Bologna. The dishes are simply amazing, featuring handmade pasta, excellent service, and very reasonable prices. A must-try during your visit to this beautiful city.

The mortadella mousse tasted very much like mortadella, had a pleasant texture, and came in a good portion. The green lasagna and the tagliatelle Bolognese were very good, although the portions could have been larger. The Tenerina cake was delicious and came with a creamy topping. The staff was friendly and efficient, although they don't provide water and charge a cover charge.

We went to this restaurant for lunch (I recommend booking), it's a special location (the restaurant is inside a covered market), the staff are kind and professional, we had two good platters (two more tigelle wouldn't hurt) good dishes.

Located inside the herb market on Via Ugo Bassi
The fried crescentine are excellent
I tried the meatballs made with tortellini filling on a pea cream sauce, delicious
As always, a sure thing, perfect tagliatelle with ragù
The fried polenta sticks and squacquerone cheese are simply breathtaking
