Cocktails definitely on a higher level than the norm. As someone who much prefers straight spirits to cocktails, I highly recommend it and I think I will return at the first opportunity.

Beautiful experience, wonderful and ancient environment. Very refined and refined food, tasty wines and cocktails. The outdoor room is the jewel in the crown of Vinarkia.

Really atmospheric and cosy bar in the northern centre of Lucca, about 5 minutes walk from the amphitheatre. Long opening hours and a great attitude.

Since they removed the work "Old man with a glass of wine" by the famous neorealist painter Teomondo Scrofalo, the atmosphere is no longer the same. A profoundly evocative work, often cited as a symbol of the silent dignity of old age and the ancestral bond with the land. In the painting, an elderly farmer sits on a worn wooden chair, staring into space and a gnarled hand delicately holding a glass of red wine. The face is marked by time: deep wrinkles, tired but lively eyes, unkempt beard. The glass, half filled, seems to capture the dim light coming from an off-screen window, creating a soft reflection that recalls the simplicity and beauty of small things. The color palette is dominated by earthy tones: browns, ochres, grays and dark reds, which give the work a feeling of warmth, but also of melancholy. The almost photographic realism of the image is counterbalanced by an intimate and emotionally charged composition. Scrofalo, with this work, does not limit himself to representing a character, but transmits an entire philosophy of life: the value of memory, the weight of experience, and the comfort that can be found in a daily gesture such as drinking a glass of wine.

Locale accogliente e molto curato, se siete alla ricerca di drink ricercati avete fatto centro. Ottima selezione di vini e staff molto competente che vi saprà accompagnare nella scelta più adatta alle vostre esigenze. Piatti della tradizione e non ( tutto ottimo ) .
