Villa Widmann is another magnificent example of a Venetian villa located along the splendid Riviera del Brenta. At the entrance, a sumptuous Rezzonico-style chandelier welcomes visitors, a symbol of the refinement and eighteenth-century taste that characterize the residence. The interiors are embellished with frescoes by Giuseppe Angeli, an eighteenth-century Venetian painter and student of Piazzetta. Among his works, the famous depiction of the Widmann family in glory stands out, a triumph of colors and celestial scenography that celebrates the prestige of the noble lineage. Villa Widmann houses a fascinating relic linked to the history of the gondola: an original felze, the wooden and fabric cover that once protected passengers from rain, sun and prying eyes. This felze is identified as the one used by Gabriele D'Annunzio himself during some of his stays in the villa, an authentic element that enriches the room dedicated to him within the museum itinerary.

Villa richly frescoed and furnished with chandeliers of remarkable beauty. It is immersed in a beautiful garden. Vintage carriages are also on display. It is possible to take a refreshment break in the beautiful portico to the side of the villa.

Villa Widmann in Mira is beautiful, a must-see destination. Be sure to visit the café, it's really well done.
