Today I had lunch at this restaurant for the first time. Very nice place, tastefully decorated. Delicious hand-cut ham and generous portion. Good tagliatelle with an excellent sauce. I would have preferred it a little more al dente. Grilled lamb was good. Quantity/quality/price: OK. Overall rating: 8.

Excellent value for money. Dishes: traditional, the menu is always the same, and you have to like the dishes because they never change. The plating is home-style. Everything is traditional, even the type of plates and glasses. Location: dated (the top-floor terrace is nice, but you don't get one; you have to ask). Settings: simple, but cloth tablecloth and napkins are almost impossible to find anymore. It's a plus.

Very nice restaurant on the hills of Ancona with the option to eat outside, surrounded by greenery and the sound of cicadas 😊. The first courses are delicious. The egg pasta is homemade 🔝. The first courses are better than the second courses 😉.

Feeling at home! We often go to the Villa Romana restaurant, especially for special occasions! We feel at home, excellent traditional food from the Marche cuisine, professionalism of all the staff who pamper you completely. Simple furnishings but everything is well-kept and clean. A stone's throw from Portonovo!

Truly top food, from starters to main courses everything is very good, very fair prices for the area, very nice location as well as having a terrace from which you can admire the sea directly, we will definitely return

13/09/2025: More than a restaurant it is a country house used as a restaurant. Very narrow streets hoping not to meet anyone. The food is quite good. In the summer you eat outside, under trees and tents. Comfortable chairs. Opinion for us: excellent first courses, excellent side dishes, excellent desserts, acceptable grills and cuts. The only flaw is the cover charge: putting it 2.50 euros in the middle of a countryside without putting the whole tablecloth but only putting a paper runner seems excessive. Professional and prepared staff. Reservations recommended. To go at least once for those who have never been there.
03/09/2025: What can I say about this magnificent place!!! I had dinner there one evening in late August. The food was fantastic, excellent dishes, from appetizers to desserts, and the Crescia was excellent. Excellent service, and the staff were courteous and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

08/12/2025: I don't understand how in 2025 you can still keep the plexiglass panel at the cash register... given that it was something totally useless that was put up only because everyone was doing it (and, worse, tell me what sense it made, even more so in a restaurant where you were without a mask for hours with constant contact between customers, waiters, and owners... but then to pay for it, the plexiglass takes 30 seconds... total nonsense).... now they've been removed everywhere... outside of Italy they've never even been there obviously... what's the point of continuing to keep that stuff? It's disrespectful towards the customer who feels disgusted and unwelcome, distant... not to mention that it's all spat on and disgusting... I advise you to remove it and make the customer feel welcome, not like a plague victim.
