Villa Excelsa In Sannicola

Last night my husband and I, on holiday in Salento, returned to eat at Villa Excelsa, which we had already tried last year. It was a pleasant confirmation! Enchanting villa, surrounded by greenery, soft lighting and relaxing background music. ...a selection of seafood appetizers with a unique flavour, expertly prepared and presented by the chef, accompanied by excellent local white wine. To finish, a millefeuille with fresh berry ice cream... delicious, never tasted before! The staff, very welcoming but not intrusive, was very knowledgeable about the menu and quick in service. Excellent value for money. If you want to spoil yourself a little, Villa Excelsa is a guarantee!

Sublime experience, Saturday evening dinner with friends, everything delicious from the appetizers to the sweet ricotta foam enclosed between cat's tongues, passing through first and second courses both simple and refined.

We celebrated my dad Antonio's 60th birthday in this magnificent place and we were really thrilled. The staff was super helpful right away, they welcomed us with a smile and were attentive to our every need. One aspect that we appreciated very much was the care taken in managing food allergies: they modified the menu for those who could not eat certain foods, without making anything burdensome, indeed with great attention and kindness; they showed patience and availability in listening to all our requests. Even though we were less than 20 people, they put us in the largest and brightest room, which we really appreciated because it allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view outside and enjoy the day even more. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the service to the way they served us: kind, fast, never intrusive and very professional. The external environment is also very well looked after: lots of greenery, a relaxing environment and perfect for a family party. We really recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming place with people who put their heart into what they do

Si mangia bene, si spende il giusto, in una location molto bella con locali puliti e ben presentati. Servizio veloce e di cortesia, accompagnato da portate ben proporzionate e dall'ottimo sapore. Tutto quello che ricerco in un servizio di ristorazione, qui lo trovo puntualmente. Complimenti!

Sublime dishes, excellent staff and hospitality.

Dopo anni di visite alla Villa (quasi 30, giusto “qualche”) finalmente, questa sera, abbiamo deciso di lasciare una bella recensione a questo splendido posto. Frequentato sia in inverno, nelle accoglienti sale, sia in estate nello splendido giardino, sempre accolti dal gentilissimo e professionale personale. Una piacevole serata passata in famiglia, in questa cornice storica ricca di atmosfere e buon cibo. Che sia la buonissima pizza o i piatti tra primi e secondi non si puó restare mai delusi. Prodotti eccellenti e materie prime di prima scelta accompagnati da un’ottima selezione di vini. Lasciamo un caro saluto al grande amico Mino e chiaramente verremo a trovarlo di nuovo per passare, come sempre, un’altra delle innumerevoli piacevolissime serate qui nella sua splendida Villa Excelsa.

Good selection of food. High quality. Prices within limits. For me the 2nd best restaurant in town behind Veccio Camino.
