Too crowded even just to queue for a coffee...absurd...but there is nothing left in the surrounding area...all businesses closed...so...arm yourself with patience

A well-known cafe/restaurant in the Latina area on the SS148. I remember having had much better meals on other occasions, but unfortunately, this last time, some dishes were clearly reheated and cooked or prepared the day before. It's a shame, because it's always been renowned for the quality and deliciousness of its dishes.

Everything is exceptional, from the quality of the dishes to the moderate bill for what you eat, the staff is very fast, helpful and delicious in their service and customer care, the owners are really very good, I recommend it to everyone, from the worker who wants to stop at the diner to the customer who wants to enjoy a dish at the restaurant

11/08/2025: The Osteria La Portella restaurant is a family-run establishment located in the center of Sonnino in a beautifully renovated building. We were extremely impressed by the friendly service and the quality of the ingredients. The dishes are exceptional: homemade pasta, Sonnino-style goat, and snails. We will definitely be back. I'm updating this review almost a year later for another truly positive experience. Ignazio, his wife, and his entire family made us feel at home and delighted us with their pasta dishes and a traditional lamb cacciatore. We also discovered the truly remarkable Abbuoto wine from the Monti Cecubi winery. Many compliments and we look forward to returning soon.

07/08/2025: On Sunday, September 24, 2023, after my thirteen-year-old son's friendly soccer match, even though we live in Lavinio, we decided to have lunch at this Sicilian Delicatessen, and we were right. Everything we ate was excellent, and we'll be back for more Sicilian specialties. Congratulations on the excellent value. Since September 2023, I've been going there often for arancini and other specialties.
22/07/2025: The cannoli are excellent, the only true Sicilian ones in Latina! The arancini are also delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful.
