Villa Bosco Grande In Palermo

A beautiful location for events like weddings. The building is old, has a lovely garden, and inside, the walls are frescoed and the rooms are large. There's also a very charming fireplace in the winter. I've been to two weddings, one in summer and one in winter, and personally, I preferred the summer one not only because we were outside but also for the quality and quantity of food. In the winter, we were inside, and we guests were separated into two rooms. The bride and groom were in the central room, where we couldn't even see each other from our seating. The food was mediocre, the cake and desserts were good, and the entertainment was lovely.

The building where the TV series "Sprut" was filmed is unfortunately in need of renovation. Overall, it was still interesting to see.

We attended a relatives' evening wedding. I was truly speechless: it felt like a king and queen's wedding. The setting was breathtaking, the organization perfect, and the dishes were unique, prepared by a famous chef! Congratulations!

A food event, the "Sicilian Experience," took place at Villa Boscogrande, featuring over 40 chefs and as many stands, freshly preparing reinterpreted traditional Sicilian dishes and more. There were also numerous wine selections, and the location proved highly suited to hosting events of this kind. The organization could perhaps have been better managed: there were too many people, especially in the small spaces. Even the expected food quantities were underestimated, resulting in many stands already selling out by 10:00 PM.

I hadn't been there for several years...I remembered it being in better condition. Perhaps a little maintenance wouldn't hurt. Still, a charming location.
