Services was outstanding, everyone is so friendly and in a good mood, good delicious, amazing wine for great value! We went back again the second evening again and will be back next time we visit Malcesine.

Wonderful meal at Vidoc. We sat outside and everything was delicious, my husband said his pasta was the best bite of the trip so far! I had the chicken biryani and we split the fennel salad—definitely recommend everything we had and would go back for something different!

We visited this wonderful establishment again in September. You could basically order any dish, regardless of your personal taste, and you'd always be pleasantly surprised. The family cooks authentically, lovingly, and to the highest standards; in Germany, that would definitely be a Michelin-starred restaurant. All of this is rounded off by a service team that caters to every need, and the price is absolutely reasonable. So, if you're on holiday in beautiful Malcesine, you shouldn't miss this.

Came across this place by chance as previous restaurant didn’t work out - although the restaurant was full, the waiter managed to fit us in. The food was incredible - had a beef tartare, tortelloni with prawns and tiramisu, all delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough! Great food, friendly service and excellent value for money!

Having read recommendations on TripAdvisor, we followed our map to find Vidoc in Via Dosso. We hadn't made a reservation, and think we were actually very lucky to get a table in the front of the restaurant...TOP TIP...book in advance!! From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and welcoming... there's a lovely ambience. Felt so comfortable and at home! Menu is just a treat to behold...a fusion as it suggests, where Italy meets Sri Lanka! I love the way recommended wine pairings are suggested. There is a vast selection of wine available and on display to peruse...enjoy! As for the food... delicious! We actually ate at Vidoc twice in the five days we were in Malcesine, and on both occasions my husband had the chicken biriani... it was that good!! I tried the pink tortelli on our first visit, and the prawn, chilli and lime pasta, the second time. Can't fault the food, just fabulous. There's a good reason why Vidoc is rated so highly on TripAdvisor, and I'm certainly grateful we found it, thanks to the reviews of other diners. Just loved it! Thank you!

Wir kamen bei strömenden Regen an. Ohne reserviert zu haben, wurden wir an einem kleinen Tisch plaziert. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Nachtisch waren wirklich ausgezeichnet. Nicht ganz billig, aber jeden Cent wert. Wir kommen sicher wieder!
