Vida Loca In Cannara

The pizza was a no-no; it arrived cold and dry. The appetizer was good. Praise to the young and very friendly service. I recommend not going for pizza.

A restaurant nestled in the countryside with a truly pleasant outdoor space, ideal for summer dinners. Fast and friendly service. We had appetizers and pizza, both very tasty and just the right amount.

I had dinner two evenings at this place with my family. One evening the pizza was excellent, easy to digest, well-filled and enjoyed by everyone. While we were waiting, we enjoyed the fried courgette and sage flowers in batter, which were excellent. Another evening we enjoyed the meat, a spectacular Florentine steak, shared between me and my son. My daughter had an Angus burger with caramelized Cannara red onion on top. Before the 375g burger arrived at the table, my daughter said, "I don't know if I'll be able to eat it all." There was no trace of anything left. My wife, who is not a big eater, polished off a large steak. What can I say? We finished with desserts, a tart with apricot jam and Catalan creams. Thanks to Michele and his dad who served us and treated us like old friends, offering us a plum grappa that was too good. Thanks also to all the very kind waiters. If I ever pass by those parts again, it will be a must-visit. Thanks Michele.

Exceptional food. We had a delicious zucchini flower parmigiana. The staff was kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed it!

The staff is very friendly and quick with their service; they know how to advise and make you feel at ease. Nice place, ample parking. I recommend it.

The appetizers, fried foods, and pizza were truly delicious, with impeccable service and friendly waiters who were available to accommodate every request. The only downside was that when we got home, we noticed that our clothes smelled of fried food, although I must say that the smell wasn't noticeable in the dining room during dinner. In any case, this place is definitely worth a try, and I repeat (personal opinion) the pizza is truly delicious.

We went for dinner and tried homemade cured meats (very good), tagliatelle with white Chiarina ragù (superb), veal steak (perfectly cooked, very flavorful meat), fresh local vegetables, and finally, the homemade Colomba cake with peaches. What can I say? Kudos to Michele and his family. They focus on quality and attentive, home-style service. Congratulations. Highly recommended. And tomorrow evening we'll have more!
