Just returned from dinner at Vicolo 34. What can I say? Everything was sublime. The elegant and refined atmosphere is in a quaint Tropea alleyway. The staff are friendly and professional, and they make you feel right at home from the moment you order, which is done with a smile. The food is truly delicious. Spaghetti with squid ink and fried battered vegetables are top-notch. Recommended... We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We visited Osteria Moderna Calabrese Vicolo 34 and had a truly excellent experience! We tasted typical Calabrian dishes prepared with great care and quality ingredients: authentic flavors that showcase Calabrian tradition with a modern twist. Every course was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the owner welcomed us with such kindness that made us feel right at home. A place where you can feel a passion for cooking and true hospitality. We had two all-you-can-eat Calabrian meals. Excellent quality, with generous yet balanced portions, avoiding any excess or waste. The service was friendly and prompt. The price matched the quantity and quality.

Excellent experience, delicious food, and friendly, attentive service. There were 14 of us, and all the dishes we chose were excellent, especially the mixed fried fish and the gnocchi with octopus ragù. The location is central yet quiet. We truly had a lovely evening. Thanks to all the staff.

Io e mia moglie, all'ora di pranzo, ci siamo trovati di fronte a questo ristorante. Abbiamo trovato un ambiente accogliente, il personale gentile e la titolare prodiga di suggerimenti nella scelta dei piatti, i quali sono stati cucinati con ottime materie prime della zona di Tropea a cominciare dalla famosa cipolla presentata caramellata. Suggeriamo una visita.

Siamo stati a cena e ci siamo sentiti coccolati, staff professionale e attento, i piatti ben presentati e buona la qualità del cibo, ottimi gli spaghetti alle vongole e pomodorini e i tagliolini cacio e pepe con lime e gamberi, da provare… consigliato ..

23/08/2025: Excellent quality food, fresh ingredients, and excellent seafood spaghetti. I should point out that I tried to book by phone and was told there was no room until three days later. When I walked by and asked, just to be sure, they gave me a table at 7:30 PM. We shared some courses, which were served separately. Great customer service, perhaps even too much. I was pleasantly surprised that in an AIC-certified restaurant, which is dedicated to gluten-free dining, there was a €3 surcharge for each gluten-free dish served, in addition to a €3 cover charge per person. This didn't happen in other restaurants that were kind enough to prepare gluten-free meals for a celiac, despite not being AIC-certified. Overall, a pleasant dinner.

30/08/2025: Lido la costa degli dei is a beach where people go to have fun with their children and relax enjoying their holidays. Go there but I recommend you bring sea shoes with you, the sea is beautiful.
