At this authentic restaurant, I tried both the generous meat menu with delicious, homemade vegetable sides (the prosciutto was excellent), and the fish dinner. The seafood appetizer was excellent, and I highly recommend it. The owner is truly hospitable and friendly. Definitely worth returning!

Yesterday we celebrated my husband and I's 25th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent from start to finish. The staff was extremely friendly and always ready to help. We had a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back.

Lunch for two at a fixed price of €35 per person. The fried food was decent, as it tasted very oily. The mezzé paccheri were good, but the pasta and potatoes with shrimp were absolutely disgusting. But the most absurd thing, and one that could have been avoided, was dessert. How can you serve half a baba with a little cream? Half a baba! Absurd! Surely once is enough.

Great experience!! I've had lunch at the Vick d'o' Vattariello restaurant several times and have been very satisfied. The food was excellent, especially the pasta e fagioli with mussels and spaghetti allo scarpariello. They were delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. Sonia is always a cheerful person. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Excellent value.

Siamo stati per la prima volta a cena in questa osteria e devo dire che siamo stati veramente bene. Il presonale molto cordiale e disponibile e il cibo veramente buono. Siamo stati nella sala dove non c'era la cucina, siamo stati tranquilli e freschi. Abbiamo mangiato e bevuto in buona compagnia sia delle persone presenti che del personale. A presto

Beautiful evening with dinner based on local products of excellent quality. Rich and varied appetizer and exquisite first courses served by Gianluigi very nice and friendly so much so that he gave us ladies a rose as a floral tribute. I highly recommend

Una esperienza davvero incantevole. La professionalità di Gianluigi, unita alla cortesia della signora Sonia, hanno reso il cibo ancora più delizioso, se possibile. Da provare assolutamente gli antipasti, cucinati come in casa. Per i primi abbiamo assaggiato spaghetti alla Nerano e la immancabile pasta, patate e provola della tradizione. Da ritornarci assolutamente e da consigliare a tutti quando passate per Angri. Complimenti davvero

02/10/2025: Special Pub: 15 Years of Success — An Unforgettable Evening! The 15th anniversary celebration of Special Pub in Battipaglia was a truly fun event. The atmosphere was electrifying and the organization impeccable. We came to celebrate, but of course we also ate: the food was, once again, top-notch! Amazing sandwiches and specialties, a true guarantee of quality. The owners are fantastic people, and you can see how much they put into this place. Their friendliness and dedication are the true secret to Special's biennial success. A well-deserved achievement. Special Pub is an institution: the food is excellent and the atmosphere is even better!
29/09/2025: I'm giving 5 stars only because there aren't 100!!! What can I say, a stratospheric evening, finally an event where we had fun in a genuine way and felt at home, singing at the top of our lungs while laughing and enjoying the company of everyone present!!! The quality of the products is beyond discussion, starting from the originality of the platter to the goodness of the sandwiches!!! And as the icing on the cake (which was also delicious!!!) the fireworks, explosive and colorful like the owners!!! Special, what can I say, YOU ARE SIMPLY SPECIAL ❤️
