Optimal. Friendly and qualified staff. Well done chef. Exceptional value for money. I often go to Vico Astemio and I recognize the chef's ability to grow in his work in a natural way. In his dishes you can sense creation and everything with simple and natural products. Compliments. Not everyone can create a fabulous dish with a simple artichoke or trunzo. . The environment is always well looked after. Excellent choice of music. And finally the staff who grew up with the restaurant: perfect, kind, professional and smiling. Go it's worth it.

Wonderful experience in this very nice restaurant in Riposto. The dishes are already very beautiful to the eye and in addition they are delicious. We were very well received, we thank Maria for her impeccable service, her smile and bravo for her few words in French.

Consigliato da amici abbiamo raggiunto Riposto che vanta un magnifico porto turistico con vista spettacolare dell'Etna. Raggiunto il ristorante ci accomodiamo in una sala con impianto architettonico in pietra lavica a vista e veniamo accompagnati al nostro tavolo. Da subito veniamo raggiunti da graziose ragazze (una di loro parla benissimo l'inglese: eravamo con una amica americana) che ci consegnano i menù e la carta dei vini. Dopo il primo assaggio di un olio eccellente ci servono il "benvenuto dello chef" (amuse bouce), ordinato il vino ed i piatti, veniamo serviti diligentemente. Mise en place spettacolare (non ho fatto foto perchè avevo premura di assaggiare) e cibo eccellente. Di astemio c'è solo il nome percè hanno una cantina di tutto rispetto con vini che spaziano dalla Siclia al nord Italia alla Francia. Esistono 2 menù degustazione ma abbiamo scelto alla carta, per un pasto quasi completo (alcuni hanno preso solo un piatto ed il dessert) con vino e grappa finale abbiamo pagato circa 50.00€ a testa. Che dire ... consigliatissimo !

Excellent food an extensive wine menu and a very beautiful room make this restaurant a special place to dine. Quality of food and combinations of aromas are extraordinary.
Service staff is very helpful. It’s all very tastefully decorated and served. A treat for eyes and mouth alike.

Celebrated my birthday here in October season so atmosphere was fairly quiet however! The food and service were so exceptional it didn’t matter if anyone else was there or not. Chef Massimiliano truly reflects the unique taste of Sicily and mirrors the volcanic essence of Etna, the balance of smokiness, salt and unique local flavours were elegant, delicious and exciting. Truly impressed by the flavours and choice of ingredients and produce were really well considered. A hidden gem I would travel back for and will crave for when I return home. As for the staff Alessia
Maria and Agnieska were warm, welcoming and had a real in depth knowledge of their wines and menu. An absolute treat. I wouldn’t be surprised if this guy was awarded a Michelin star one day.

Culinair restaurant. Wij kozen voor een 5-gangen verrassingsmenu (vis of vlees). Borden waren prachtig opgemaakt. Smaken waren heerlijk en verrassend. Bediening was erg vriendelijk en sprak goed Engels. Wel een wat duurder restaurant.
