Fondi, a welcoming town I wasn't familiar with. But the greatest discovery was finding myself dining in a café-bistro without any great expectations and discovering a comfortable atmosphere complemented by the welcoming professionalism and friendliness of the staff. I was then immersed in a journey of taste sensations through simple, refined, and imaginative (but never overdone) cuisine that I was truly delighted to discover. We returned the following day. Gianni, the owner, conveyed to us all the love and knowledge he puts into his work, with the appropriate, yet unpretentious, arrogance befitting someone who chooses the best for their customers and therefore deserves to let them taste it.

A delightful discovery in the heart of Fondi! The Bistrot Viavai presents itself with an intimate and refined environment, capable of immediately putting you at ease. Relaxing atmosphere, warm lights and details that tell of attention to hospitality. The service was punctual and courteous, with helpful and never intrusive staff, capable of advising with discretion and competence. The food fully met expectations, with well-presented dishes and balanced flavors. However, the surprising harmony of the artichoke with cod stood out above everything else: a very successful combination that was able to blend the delicacy of the fish with the strong character of the artichoke. A true delicacy for the palate, a delight for lovers of authentic taste! In short: a successful dinner, a place to recommend, and a dish - the artichoke and cod - that alone is worth the return. The best Carbonara I've had anywhere, better than in Rome. The hamburger on a salad was a cost effective protien and very succulent. The tiramisu and espresso were excellent. The service was very good and fast, I had multiple staff come and ask me how I was enjoying the food. 👍
