A truly lovely place to enjoy an aperitivo at a surprisingly reasonable price. I chose two glasses of wine—only €2 each—and I must say: delicious! What's most striking is the staff's warm welcome, welcoming you with a big smile and escorting you to your table with genuine friendliness. We tried crushed olives for the first time... a wonderful discovery. For an aperitivo with olives and three glasses of wine, we spent just €8: a small pleasure worth every sip.

It’s on a lively, fun street, but the place gets so busy that the bartenders can’t make a cocktail the same way twice — each round tastes different.

The place is located in the heart of the city and offers amazing food as well as drinks. It’s wonderful to sit and enjoy your drink along with an excellent meal. vermuttinos for the banter and food so good it makes you cry. if i lived here i'd either work or eat there almost every day (and i didn't even have the time to go for the wine selection). good work, cumpari!

Nella miriade di locali che popolano il centro cittadino la cui movida è un vero e proprio must, questo è senza dubbio uno dei più gettonati. Composto da più salette anche in edifici differenti della via, pur se affiancati, e con tanti tavoli e sedie lungo la via, è sempre affollatissimo soprattutto da giovani. Tra gente seduta e folla che staziona consumando in piedi se non conosci l’ambiente è un po’ difficile destreggiarsi. Io opto per degli snack salati (gustosi ma non eccezionali) che accompagno, in nome del locale, con un calice di Vermut. I prezzi non sono proprio economici quindi occhio a non farvi prendere la mano davanti all’ampia e attraente varietà di crostini e stuzzichini proposti dal menu, perché poi alla fine il conto finisce per… sentirsi. Se non siete in comitiva e se non andate lì per far casino, il consiglio è quello di scegliere un orario non di punta, quando c’è meno gente e l’atmosfera magari sarà un po’ meno vivace ma sicuramente più umana.

In pieno di centro di Catania, Vermut, rapresenta il localino da Spritz e finger food, come altri di tendenza veramente ottimo. Si sta in strada, su un tavolo traballante, anche stretto, ma va bene così, perchè l'aperitivo,e la location si fanno amare. Provato un pò di tutto: salsicette tenerissime,braciole,ma soprattuto,le Tostadas (una versione aggiornata delle bruschette) con pane nero, morbido e ingredienti appropriati,gustosi e nuovi. Abbiamo fatto il bis, personale tranquillo ed a modo. Da provare assolutamente se si va a Catania.
