Verdi Restaurant&Cafe In Lecce

My family and I have been regulars for years. The food and service far exceed the average of other sushi restaurants in the city. The quality of the fish and ingredients is top-notch (the wine selection is also excellent). The staff is truly exceptional: professional, friendly, and extremely attentive to treating each customer with the utmost care. In short, a place where passion and authenticity meet good food is a place I highly recommend (not just for the sushi, but also for the Italian menu). The place is welcoming and elegant, the staff is friendly and helpful, the menu is extensive and the food is excellent, but what sets it apart from many other sushi places in the area is the attention to detail and the elaborate cooking. I highly recommend it ❤️

The food at this place is truly delicious and of excellent quality. I have no complaints about the cuisine, which is truly excellent. We booked at the last minute, and I understand this may be inconvenient, but if they say there's seating until 2:30 PM, I don't think it's optimal to wait an hour and a half for the meal. Once we arrived, they seated us, and we weren't able to order until around 3:00 PM. The food arrived at 3:45 PM. So, the wait was quite long, and in fact, we started eating very late. Once we'd finished, we were still hungry, precisely because we were eating until almost 4:00 PM, so we asked to order more. However, we were informed that the kitchen was now closed. We absolutely understand that times must be respected, and we're not to blame for this; However, we could have been notified in advance of the kitchen closing, because if you have me order at 3:00 PM, I need to be aware that the kitchen will close in half an hour or simply told us right away that it would be better to order more pieces. If there had been faster service times in the initial phase or more communication, this situation probably wouldn't have arisen.

Verdi Experience is a go-to place in Lecce for lunch or dinner with friends. Refined and elegant atmosphere. Impeccable staff and service. Excellent food and excellent value! The owners are fantastic! See you next time.

What can I say... A super pleasant experience is an understatement! We stumbled upon this place by pure chance. We had parked right in front of it because we had an appointment elsewhere, but since it was early, we stopped for a drink. We were immediately greeted by an extremely well-maintained place and an incredible kindness, so pleasant that after our appointment we decided to return. We discovered that they serve excellent Italian cuisine as well as excellent sushi, so we opted for a bottle of Cantele Primitivo and an aperisushi, EVERYTHING ENTIRELY HOMEMADE, like the spring rolls, simply delicious! Afterwards, we also ordered an Italian-style frittino... Finally, a well-crafted and well-structured frittino. The exciting thing is that all our wonderful time was surrounded by the kindness, enthusiasm, and professionalism of these guys who brightened up our evening. It was a truly pleasant discovery, and we can't wait to make this place our second home when we want to escape a bit! Heartfelt congratulations to everyone, and see you next time! 🫶🏻
